Yo Duggie,

You have talked like a big man so I want to see if you willing to put your money where your mouth is! I challenge you to a “Battle of the Sexes

My Pumpkins will play your Doggies in a series of seven games. We will defeat your team even thou you are currently in first league and we are only in third league. I will prove that “Women with Powerâ€? can be a formidable opponent. You will regret the day that you crossed the Mater! Twisted Evil Smallball is a mental game, and I really believe that women are smarter. They can out play, out think, and out survive any team managed by a man. Women have more patience and intuitive skills then most men. We have just been handicapped by a gender bias. This “Battle of the Sexes" will change smallball forever.

Just to make it interesting, I bet you $50.00 that the Pumpkins will win the series. Are you up to the test Question Reply to this post and we can set the time and date for your first defeat.

Later,
Mater

I really didn't mean to "get you". I just wanted to give you a friendly ribbing. If I was going to correct everyones grammar/spelling it would be a full time job! I am anxious to see Doug's response. This should be fun.

As I posted in another thread, who trembles at the thought of a league of hired Amazons whose acronym spells Whoops or Weeps? Not me! I think I will begin calling you the Weeps league, since you will be doing a lot of that during our series.

Crossed, sliced, diced, whatever. I eat tomatoes for lunch every day. Sometimes, I've been known to drop them from tall buildings, just for fun.

Obviously, I must bow to your superior logic, wait a minute...*reads list of first league champions, notes greekperson is the only female*. On second thought, no I don't!

If you're willing to throw your money away, I'm certainly willing to take it! Bring it on!

Duggie Dog,

I thought that you were a Marine, now you tell me that you’re a duck. This “Battle of the Sexesâ€? is going to turn out to be just ducky for the Pumpkins.

You talk about “weepingâ€?; it’s gone be really sad to see a Marine Duck crying when you have to pay up on your bet. I hope that you don’t have to borrow the money from your sergeant. That could be hard to explain.

As you many have heard, the Women With Power (WWP) have united and work together for the promotion of women in smallball. We have been watching your Doggies. We know every player by name, every game they play, and every mistake they make. We know when they eat, when they sleep, and how often they change their underwear. We have studied the enemy and are ready to attack.

I will initiate the first game of the “Battle of the Sexesâ€? tomorrow night. Please let me know if you decide to back out.

Later,
Mater

Mater,
Well, ducks are amphibious too ya know! BTW, I love how you throw "Battle of the Sexes" around. This, for me, should be nothing more than a simple training exercise! If your weepies have truly been studying my little guys, then you probably know that they don't play their best after I have had a case or two of India Pale ale. You are more than welcome to try and use that to your advantage (I'll post my shipping address later) as apparently you are willing to throw money everywhere (buying dt's for your weepies, posting prizes and kindly offering to give me some for virtually no work on my part). By all means, play me tomorrow night.
