Nice job a 9* team, 8 lefty hitters, a right hand pitcher and all that in Brick Park.

I guess that's as good as money can buy Confused

They were a solid 9 star team before all of that. The leftys actually dropped them down off the 9 and 8 star lists before they got back up.

Still I would like to know who would spend that much money on his team hoping to buy success.

They had success before the purchase. They had multiple leftys to begin with and the additionals were bought before the price increase so the amount spent was hardly much at all. This person might enjoy having a "different" team and maybe money does not mean much to him if it increases the enjoyment he has playing the game.

I don't doubt that they had success before it, obviously the owner knows how to train the team because otherwise he wouldn't have it at 9*.
It is exactly this "Why?" that made me curious.
I think it adds a nice touch to the SB World, at least as long as there won't be too many of these teams around

I doubt there will be. The owner of this team did this as sort of a novelty. He was one of the first, if not the first, team to have an all lefty team. I think the novelty has kinda worn off of them now so there probably wont be many of them.

Anything is possible. Some things are doubtful.
