Does anyone know how the star rating works. I mean I understand it's the overall skill of the players but i was told recently if you just recently go up a star you'll drop back no matter what you do. In my case after i trained yesterday i went up to 5* only to drop back down later that day to 4* and i hadn't touched my team since training that day. So what i'm thinking is that there's a limit to the number of 5* teams there can be in SmallBall. Am I right? If not someone please explain this to me.

There is no limit to the number of teams per star level.

Each team is constantly changing (unless they are on holiday or sabbatical.) They are going up while you are training (gaining skill.) As soon as you close your trainer they start going down (losing skill.)

What is happening in your case is you probably barely made it to five and as they started losing skill you dropped below five.

As long as you train consistently you will gain more than you lose and eventually stay above five and beyond.

Alright i understand i hadn't realized you could you lose skill by not training. I always figured that it would take affect after more than a day or so of not training. Just on a side note, when you say train consistently do you mean like once a day for the starters and twice for the bench because that's the schedule i've had for my players.

Yes, that's fine.

I personally just train them all once a day. The training potential used to fill up once a day, and twice for benchies. Now it is half that, so it is not really a necessity to train twice a day anymore.

It's just what your personal preference is.
