Hi and a couple questions |
|
|
Just wanted to say Hi.I'm about 2 weeks into this game and so far, i must say, im hooked.Havnt had time to make my way to the links of sites with help but I have a few questions i was hoping someone might answer.
I've been on about a 12 hour training schedule. Rotating my bench to give most of the players an equal chance to get the extra tp from bench time. Now im wondering if it might be easier to evaluate my players if i wait and train them with full pies.also since im fairly new(ok very new)would it be better to train them all in the same skill for the 1st couple of weeks till i see who is better at what?
ive gotten my team upto borderline 4-5 * and challenging alot of 4-5*teams and appearing to do ok.then outta nowhere yesterday i get slammed 10-12 loses in a row from challenges all made at about the same time.i start to investigate and see that they are all 7-8* teams.now my question is,other than beating up on a lowly 4* team do these teams gain anything other than knocking me off the pro qualification list?which i am not ready for anyway.
again hi and thanks for sheading some light on these questions for me. |

I would reccomend that you make a few changes -
Go to at least a 24 hour schedule. The 12 hour schedule used to be necessary to avoid TP loss on the bench, but not any more.
To really evaluate your team - Spend the whole pie on one skill, and track who gets the biggest gains. Do this for all skills so you can determine the weak spots in each player. I don't reccomend splitting pies at any point.
As far as the losses, just a guess here, but I would imagine you made it on the PL qualification list. People will knock you off until you get to a higher star level.
Good Luck |

Well dude, can't say that I feel sorry for you because all that will happen is you'd be right back out on the street, If you are into this 2 weeks, you have a lot of time to get there, this game needs lots of patience in order to get good and maintain a certain level.
You should check out the help links for training info!
Good luck! _________________

| Don't worry about those teams doing that to you, they're trying to get into the pro league the "cheap" way. They usually don't last very long in it. You'll get the last laugh eventually, just keep thier numbers around and when you get to thier star level show them the error of thier ways. |

If you do nothing else, check out how to find your pitcher in the sticky post by BTB. It is far easier to do when you are first starting - your pitcher and bats will ultimately determine how well you do down the road and it's easiest to find your pitcher at the beginning. _________________

Yea alot of good advice. Just train in pitching for a couple of weeks, but alot of people get impatient around the first week. Then after you find your pitcher, do the same thing in catching to find your players. Each player is born for a spot. Any time you want, you can play a couple new teams I have. 931 and 19476. Either team I haven't found my pitcher yet. I am still training in pitching.I never worry about wins or loses. But if you look at my page, I keep playing higher star teams. Try and get your players in the right spots early, and not when you are in the pro's.
Good luck to you! |
