How do you get more power out of a batter??

seems the players are 'happy' with contact hit, but not with power.

Any suggestions?

What do you mean they seem happy?? How many stars are you, and which trainer are you using? need all the info in order to really give you any help, otherwise it is all speculation.

ok, Sorry, was my first post.

I'm using regular trainer (have DT, but doesn't work due to monitor's out of date........need a bigger 1).

I'm 4*. When i train them, they say "x" is impressed with contact hit. Then a few moments later, it'll say the same chap is unhappy with power of swing.

Hope that'll help my question better:))

That isn't happy with his swing power means that he wants more training in that area, also don't ever go by those messages!! Most of them are so far off that in a baseball game they would be picked off everytime!! At 4* in the st you will be close to hitting homeruns, but don't let that be your primary objective in building your team. You want to build a good solid team trained in all areas well till you get to 8*, then bat them more, you will be happy you had the patience down the road!!

Hope this helped!

Actually, I THINK those sayings are preset and they just rotate through. I don't think they mean anything of value at all. At least I hope not because if they do, my SS and 3rd baseman should be my pitchers because they are "unhappy" with their pitch skill!! Confused

I love it when it says "so and so is embarrassed by his .000 avg", well then hit the damn ball and get on base already, I can't do anymore for you!! I'd like to take Beaners splintered bat to him myself for that avg.

What can I say? It keeps saying "one of my benchies is happy about his .000 avg, he knows he's the best" Laughing

Think that has something to do with the old "divide by zero = (infinity/negative infinity)" thing. But not sure Question

LOL. I signed a rookie awhile back, and the very first time I went into DT after signing him, I got that same message. He hadn't even swung a bat in practice yet. Arrogant rookies... Smile
