Last week was a bad week for me. Good thing none of you listen to my picks or you could have lost a lot of money. I'm getting my picks in early because of the games tomorrow.
last week- straight up- 7/16 (bad)
against the spread- 6/16 (really bad)
11 week total- straight up- 95/160
against the spread- 81/160
top pick- last week- incorrect (season 7-4)
upset pick- last week- incorrect (season 7-4)
Thanksgiving Day Games:
Dolphins at Lions (+3)- The Lions seem to always play good on Thanksgiving Day. The Dolphins have actually looked fairly decent recently so this is a tough decision. I'll take the Lions to upset the Dolphins.

Bucs at Cowboys (-11)- The Cowboys are tied with the Giants now and have the division lead in their sights so there is no way they will lose this one. Cowboys win and cover in a likely blowout.

Broncos (+1) at Chiefs- The best game and no one will be watching because it's on NFL Network. Most cable companies don't carry it, however lucky for me, I have direct tv so I'll get to see it. The Broncos cannot lose this game after falling to the Chargers last week. They will go all out and knock the Chiefs nearly out of playoff contention. Broncos over Chiefs.

Sunday games:
Panthers (-4) top pick at Redskins- It's funny how some people thought the Redskins might come out on top in the NFC East. The Panthers haven't lived up to expectations either but it wont matter this week against a weak Redskins team. Panthers win and cover in my top pick of the week.

Steelers at Ravens (-3)- The Ravens have been looking pretty good recently. The Steelers are getting better but they wont stand much of a chance in this one. Ravens win and cover.

Saints (+3) at Falcons- The Vick roller coaster ride is going downhill and will continue that way this week. Saints upset Falcons and get back on track.

Jaguars at Bills (+3)- I'm not sure if I ever picked the Bills this season, but the Jaguars are very weak on the road (they give up just over 7 pts at home but nearly 25 on the road). This adds up to a Bills upset of the Jaguars.

Cardinals (+6) upset pick at Vikings- Yeah you read that right. I really am going for the Cardinals. The Vikings have just looked awful recently. They lost four straight and their offense is nonexistent. Cardinals upset Vikings in my upset pick of the week.

Texans at Jets (-6)- Even though the Jets lost to the Bears last week, they should have some confidence after holding them to only 10 points. They wont need too much confidence against the Texans. Should be easy this week. Jets win and cover.

Bengals (-3) at Browns- Bengals looked good against the Saints last week and I think they will continue that. The Browns are decent but the Bengals offense is too high powered. Bengals win and cover.

49ers (+5.5) at Rams- The Rams lost their right to be picked this week after being shutout last week. With an offense like theirs, you should never be held below double digits, let alone being shut out. Don't ask how but the 49ers are 5-5 (no one saw that coming this year). 49ers upset Rams.

Raiders at Chargers (-13.5)- I think the spread is a little low. I'd be surprised if the Chargers scored less than 35 and gave up more than 14. Chargers win and cover in a blowout.

Giants (-3) at Titans- The Giants really need to get back on track this week and this is the right game to do it. Giants win and cover.

Bears (+3) at Patriots- Remember the Patriots lost to the Jets. The Bears shut them out. Simple enough for me. Bears "upset" Patriots in a really close exciting defensive game.

Eagles (+9) at Colts- If McNabb wasn't injured (and out for season), I would pick the Eagles to outright win because the Colts didn't look so good last week. However, without McNabb, their offense will suffer and they will lose a close game. Colts win but Ealges cover.

Monday night game:
Packers at Seahawks (-9.5)- Seahawks will likely have Hasselback back this week. I see that resulting in a blowout. Seahawks win and cover.

challenges always accepted and appreciated...

Don't really understand the whole line thing, but I'm not a betting person so it doesn't really matter. But I will offer some counter picks and some comments:

Thanksgiving Day

Dolphins at Lions: The Dolphins are on a 3 game winning streak (that's right 3). They struggled against a crappy Green Bay team, but beat a strong Bears team in Chicago, and beat a underachieving Vikings team while being held to some 6 yards rushing. It was negative yards if you count sacks. The Lions don't completely suck, but they won't beat the 'Fins.

Bucs at Cowboys: I'll take the Cowboys, but it won't be a blowout. So no cover big guy.

Broncos at Chiefs: The Broncos are definately the better team in this game, and they do have a chip on their shoulder after that drumming LT gave them. Broncs should pull this one out. Afterall, what are the odds of this vaunted Denver D giving up another 4 TDs to one guy again?

Sunday Games

Panthers at Redskins: Panthers.

Steelers at Ravens: I'm not sure which version of Big Ben is going to show up. Chances are the not so good one against the Ravens. I'll take the Ravens.

Saints at Falcons: The Saints have been disappointing after their crazy start. I'll take the Falcons.

Jags at Bills: Bills.

Cardinals at Vikings: I don't know what to say about this one. I do know that picking the Cardinals isn't an upset pick. The Vikings are the worst team in the NFL right now. But the Cardinals aren't that good either. I'll take the Vikings over the Cards in a nail biter of amazingly bad football.

Texans at Jets: Jets did what against the Bears last week? Doesn't matter, they'll still lose to a fiesty Texans team.

Niners at Rams: I'm as stunned as everyone else is about the Niners being 5-5. Niners win because they are better than everyone thinks this week.

Raiders at Chargers: I think the Raiders could make this a game, but that would be against the Chargers cheerleaders. And then they'd have to deal with the assult charges afterwards. Chargers win by 14 with their second string team and a fat guy with a sign.

Giants at Titans: Hmm....Eli or Vince? I'll take Vince and the Titans over the Giants. You can call this your upset special.

Bears at Patriots: This should be a pretty good game, and Da Bears will win by at least two touchdowns.

Eagles at Colts: Losing McNabb for the season is a big blow. Colts win and cover (10 points or more, or whatever that means).

Packers at Seahawks: Eventhough the Seahawks are heavily favored, I'll take the Pack somehow winning.

p.s. Don't be surprised if I get all but 1 right (the Dolphin game is a lock Smile).
