Any one here a fan of a D1-AA, D-2, or D-3 team?
Wanted a chance for the "other teams" to be mentioned.

I'm a huge Appalachian State fan.

Im a UTC fan. As far as Appy State goes, I got to see them win the DI-AA Championship game last year. Stormed the field with the team and all.

Cal Poly is from my city so I've been following them. They have been doing well the last two seasons but looks like they will miss the D1-AA 16 team playoff again.

One of the best teams has to be Wofford. They lost 3 games by 7 or less. Two of those teams were App State and I-A USC. They just beat Chatt 55-0 this past weekend. Furman is the only team that really beat them.

Thats where my wrestling coach wrestled, they have(or at least had) a great wrestling program. Right up there with Iowa States and Oklahomas.

My sister goes to the University of Delaware. They won the National Championship a couple years ago, but I'm not sure how they are doing in '06. Go Blue Hens!

I believe they still perform well. Their womens vollyball program is top 20 in the nation, and every year they seem to pop into the top 25 for baseball. The Big West conference where they are at is a pretty competitive baseball league with Cal State Fullerton and Long Beach State.

I'm a Syracuse fan. They're playing D-III level. Evil or Very Mad

Going to the Dome Saturday. Loudest place in the world to watch a game. My ears will ring for 6-8 hours after the game.

Nice, I'm actually going there this weekend. Great school, and they usually do have a good football team (for a Div 1-AA school).

Yes, they beat Wofford that season to go to the big game. That was 2003 I believe.

Any predictions for the playoffs coming up?

Could we see an App State repeat? Only if Edwards and Richardson lead the way!

I hope we get to see them play Furman again. Thats another great football program in SoCon its also in the Carolinas.

I hope Appy State makes a chance to repeat or someone from the SoCon. Got front row seats here in Chattanooga again. Can't wait.

As far as Non-D1 schools go, I have to go with my alma mater. Augustana College, SD.

Go Vikings!
