Subject description: n00b Trainers - No Previous DT Team
Reply with quote

I'm looking for a few n00b trainers out there who would like the oppurtunity for a free Deluxe Trainer team. You must have NEVER owned a DT team before. If I find any trace of evidence that you owned a DT team at anytime in your SmallBall career, then you will be automatically DQ'd.

DT Team: 399900

What I'm Looking For:
1. Why you play SmallBall?
2. How long have you been playing?
3. Why you want this DT team?

Okay. Now I'm looking for some WELL thought out answers. Not any "OMG!!!11 I reallyyyyyy want tHIs dt team cuz i hav neveer had one of dem beforee..so plzzz!!!" If you want to impress me, use correct grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and SPELLING. I'll leave this open until Sunday.

I'll try to get the ball rolling.

1. I like computer games. Specifically, I like strategy games like Age of Empires, Railroad Tycoon, Empire Earth, etc. I don't like playing against AI, therefore I like online games where the opponent is a real, unpredictable, thinking human. This game requires hard work, strategy, scouting, short and long range planning and a little luck, just the kind of thing that holds my interest. I like baseball. I look at a lot of games before I find one worth playing. It is my opinion, that this game is head and shoulders above most, in its design, atmosphere, communty and (unrealized) potential.
2. I've been playing since early September.
3. I don't. It should go to someone who will train and play it. If I got it, I would save it in case this game ever gets owners who pay attention to it and then I would either use it as prize for a tourney or try to trade it for a DT ticket or lefties or such. But it's very cool of you vets to be helping out the rooks. Very Happy

I will be nearing my 10th month anniversary since getting involved with smallball. I have never owned or had the opportunity of managing a DT team. This does not guarantee you to give me your team. Playing smallball and managing my team gives me the opportunity to engineer ot newer ways to take care of business, and helps greatly in my anticipation ability. Getting the opportunity to improve my teams skills and possibly improving my problem solving strategy, on a far more advanced ground will be a precious moment and event for me. I hope you find this justifiable.

1. Why you play SmallBall? I play for fun, as a hobby, and i'm trying to do just like slogan says to own the best team in the world
2. How long have you been playing? About since July
3. Why you want this DT team? Since I ever started Smallball I wanted a DT team or ticket, that I can call my own

1. I've been playing SB for 1-2 weeks.
2. I don not own teamsz.
3. My names Rally.

So do I win, I think I'm best qualified. (Even better than Reds) Smile

Dude, seriously that was not a bit fun. Reds actually took some bit of humor. Maybe you should try some humor and get back to me after that.

Well, I'm the lucky winner of the DT team so generously given away by Slip'N'Sliders. Although I didn't think I wanted to be the winner, now that I got it, I think I will train and play them as I'm finding ST more and more difficult as I go up in rank with my current team.
Thanks Mr Sliders (can I call you Slip?), I'm grateful to you for getting me out of ST hell.

Oh man, come on, I really need it so badly.

Here's why I need it and why I'm part of SmallBall:

1.) I like baseball and Rutgers is awesome! (12-0 all the way, baby). My team name is even "Rutgers Scarlet Knights 9-0!"
2.) I just started this team about a month ago but I've been playing SmallBall for a couple years and I have never had a deluxe trainer ticket (or any ticket for that matter)
3.) I need a Deluxe Trainer ticket because I feel I have more control and more organized with Deluxe Trainer team. Standard Trainer is too..... well...... standard. Besides, it's easier for me to rise up in the stars with Deluxe Trainer than it is with Standard Trainer. When I first started this team, when it got to Friday before starting DT, my team was still 1 star. After one going through DT, my team was already 3 stars. Also, I want my team to enter the ProLeague and I feel I won't have a chance without it because most ProLeague teams have Deluxe Trainer.

My ID is 565416 and right now it is a 6 star team. And of course, my team name is "Rutgers Scarlet Knights 9-0."

Sorry this team has already been taken. Congrats to Havanna Slim.

Ill be checking up on the team. I really hope you enjoy it and make it your own. Nothing like getting your first DT etam. I remember getting mine and Im just glad I can help out someone newer to the game. And yeah Slim you can call me Slip, Slippay, anything you want.

I dont have another team ATM, but who knows what will come up.

It is incredibly easy to get teams into the PL's, even standard trainer teams. I managed to get a 5* ST team to enter the PL's this season, and I have only used passive training on them. That is proof of how easy it is to get. The higher PL's, that is a slightly different matter, most of the teams are DT, but look at Zach, he has an ST team in PL1 (or did last season), it just takes more patience and player knowledge.

Chris.

I'm going to stick with my ST team, it's my first team and I love them. However, I think I'll be more successful with this one as being able to tweak and fine tune becomes a big issue after that ninth star. So those two will be my teams for a long time. My other teams will be developed haphazardly until I can parlay them and any gift tickets they win into lefty tickets for those two. Thanks again Slipparoo, I'll try to do ya proud. Very Happy

Progress report:

Got them up to 6*, but more importantly, I feel I "know" each player a bit closer than those in my ST teams. It will be a while before they make it to the PLs though, as I'm being more thorough in their early training.
