May I know what is the desirable speed that my pitcher should reach for maxing out pitching?

In normal conditions , he will max around 107 mph , thats if he doesnt have much throw skill , he will throw up to around 112-113 when max in throwing skill , but that doesnt make his pitch skill any better , just that he throws harder.
There is a method using your fps and miminizing your DT , but thats gets tricky and it different for ever computer.

So after my pitcher maxes out, the only thing I can do to improve my team is to train batting and fielding?

You will need to keep on remaxing your pitcher, like every other skill due to skill loss.

Chris.

ok thanks!
Also, when training on ST, I noticed Catch skill trains really fast whereas throwing gains are little. So is it wise to only train throwing?

Training in the ST is a whole different ball of wax compared to DT. You train catch /throw together in the st , and you do gain more catch skills at first but the throw gains eventually come . One thing I always did when training a st team was to max everyone ( or close to it ) in catch/throw , before I even found my pitchers , why?, because of all the catch/throw gains you get while pitching.

So even when I max throw/catch, I still have to train pitching?
