I wish we could get rid of the non-active teams.. 2 teams havnt been trained in 5 days, and we have two 1 star teams in there too

Why's that, just a change of scenery?

Ocean might be nice, but I don't know if that's an option. It would also be really interesting to see how these teams played in Monster. I think your scores might actually go up...

All depends on what Stadiums TNT1 has on the team that UL is attached to.

However to me, I think Homerun is the bets choice.. I mean its an offensive style league.. so what better park than HR?

I personally don't have a problem with HR as my team hits a lot of homers, often more than the other top OL teams.

However, I am looking for a new challenge for my team.

My suggestion is Brickyard, how many times would we hit it over the wall!!

I held of playing this game until I felt my team was ready as it would decide the league.

Unfortunately, i lost my worst Offense League game yet, 41-22.

It's back on next season, now with only the two active teams with mlthmp's drop out.

If someone would like to take over 558201 let me know.. they're trained just for this league.. they are 6* and are fast as can be.. batting is pretty good too..

Two points to make:
1. Another showdown looms between the Juggernaut Generals and Chris' 5th IX this season. It will come down to the two games versus each other to determine the season champion.

2. As some of you may know, I am starting seriuos revision for end-of-school exams. I am now unable to train all of my teams.

I am therefore regretfully deciding to retire my team from the Offense League, effective from the end of this season. If anyone wants to take on this team, trained perfectly for this league, PM me.

I think more people need to try this league out.

It's very easy to train your players (You have to worry about a lot less skills). I like it a lot even with only a few teams.

You should join up!

Sorry TNT I am out too. With school and football and everything I only have enough time to train 1 team and do my best. When you have 2 or 3 teams and little time you dont pay as much attention to who needs to be where and what you need to work on. If smallball continues and this league continues cont me in for season 3. Wink

Well, TNT, I guess all good things must come to an end. It was a great idea and lots of fun while it lasted, but it was just at the wrong time in SmallBall history. I'm proud of my 49-1 (pending two more games) record. Chris and mlthmp, you were worthy opponents and it's been a pleasure. Well, the Juugernaut Generals won the 1st game 25 -17 between the two of us.

Unfortunately I was caught on a day in which I ran out of time to train all my teams (and this one was the one I chose not to train).

Also, great idea TNT. Loved the league while it lasted, had a very stiff competition for the first couple of seasons.

I initiated the deciding game in the Offense League about an hour ago, and the result was:

20-13 to Chris' 5th IX (OL)

This leaves the Juggernaut Generals and Chris' 5th IX even on 4 wins apeice (one game still pending for each which will probably be a forfeit, if not a win anyway).

Juggernaut Generals are listed on top, winning the league once again.

Great end to a great league.

Just for interest in trying to break a tie:
