With the sudden impulse of mass retirees and such, as a result of the current state of smallball, I myself have considered full retirement from the game. But, the content of my character has not allowed me to do such.For this reason I am declaring a temporary hiatus of myself, until such a point that the game experiences a turnaround. For the 3+ years of my life that I have given time to this game, I've made great friends, and I've had my share of quarrels. From this, I have been able to learn a slight sense of maturity in admitting my wrongdoing in activities and the like. I would like to use this opportunity to attempt to make peace, as the uncertainty of the game does not clearly entail whether I will be making a return or not. I would like to apologize to those who I have come across in a bad way, In most of these cases, (except one) I have been in the wrong and I admit to this.

One of my major reasons for taking this hiatus is that with the slow but sure decline of the SCL, goes the foundation of my smallball career. For those who know me here on the forums, not only know me from the SCL but know that I have played (I would like to think) a small but noticeable role in the longevity of that league. Although there were some low points, I'm proud of my contributions, and I want to thank those that took a chance on me (you know who you are).



In conclusion, I would like to those that have guided me through my smallball career, of whom they know who they are. I would also again like to thank those that have befriended me here in the forums, as you all have been great competition and company to be amongst. But at the top of my list I'd like to thank GE/Herb. Now I know he isn't received as one of the greatest people around here, but to me he's good people, and w/o his introducing me to SCL, who know how long I would've stuck with this game.


Remember though, I'm not retiring, I'm not saying goodbye, but just a hopeful see you soon.

Nice read there.


The decline of the SCL bummed me out too, even though I was having to leave anyway. I would have liked it to still be there if I ever wanted to go back. Last I saw ukce was doing everything he could to salvage it. Other than winning PL1, the SCL was the most fun for me ever in SB.


I don't know who you ever had problems with around here, but I know that I wasn't one of them.
