Last year it was The Rolling Stones

Two years ago it was Van Halen

Tonight, I am going to see the man...

Elton John

Anyone that knows me here, knows He has always in my top 3 of concert acts i want to see, and one of my favorite music personalities and tonight it comes true....

This year I was "smart' and bought four extra tickets, which i sold on ebay a few days ago for a 120% profit Smile (Ya sue me).. it paid for much better seats Smile

After not selling my rolling Stones tickets last year, I smartened up.

I expect it to be better than The Stones...

not to make this all about me, but my "concert of the year" was the black angels. relatively new band from austin, tx (aren't all new bands from there these days?) with a very cool sound. i saw them at a KEXP show earlier in the year. i would recommend them...

Elton John would be a great concert. Up in my area the big concert is the Journey/Def Leppard tour. Wow.

Elton John still has the BRit record for most consecutive years with a top 40 single (don't quote me but i think it's 31).

His style isn't really my cuppa, but watched the Red Piano concert recently, and pleasantly enjoyed it. Really talented Pianist especially with those stubby fingers (most know pianist usually have long thin fingers).

My fav. show this year so far is Tool. Also really enjoyed Snow Patrol and Bloc Party. Dragonforce was just a mess of noise, really diasppointed.

Tony.... Elton John is a man, he is also very talented. Calling him a filthy dirty pervert is not constuctive. What is your issue with him? Do you hate him because he knows how to use the quote function?

Would've loved to see a Tool show.

Hasn't been much around here lately, unfortunately.

I went to the Rolling Stones concert last saturday in Halifax. Owned. Guns N Roses are coming in November so I'll hit that up again. Should be good but it won't be as good as the Stones.

Dragonforce not that good live? That's a shame. They're songs are awesome =P

Snow Patrol and Tool are also good ways to go. Surprised

Speaking of concerts we just had The Who in Jersey- I heard they were awesome, wish I had known about it sooner.

Pink Floyd.

I went to see him at the Post Gazette Pavilion and it was absolutely outstanding.

So he's my vote.
