Early Bird Classic Tourney Details

Location: Privateers Clan Chat
Day: Friday, September 15, 2006
Roll Call and Signups: Begins at 4:30 pm ET. See below to signup in advance please if possible! There will be one team total per person at this time, unless stated otherwise in chat.
Start: 5:00 pm ET.

Looking for a tournament...
...That doesn't last hours upon hours?
...That is well run and organized?
...Where your entry isn't missed on the bracket?
...With brackets that allow your lower * teams to compete and have fun with or without your higher * teams?
...That consistently offers decent quality prizes?
...With a unique seeding system that rewards teams that play for quality and honor and isn't "randomly" seeded?
Then you've found the tournament for you!

You'll want to check this one out since this is run and seeded in a very unique way!

Tournament Format:
There will be two sides to the bracket, a lower * Starter bracket (right side) and a higher * Pro bracket (left side). Both will be single elimination with seedings based upon the following criteria in order of priority: Star Rating, Honor Rating, Lowest Team ID. Worse seed initiates at all times in these tourneys where the best seed is the #1 seed. This week the brackets will be limited to a max of 8 teams in each due to the short notice of the tourney.

Starter Bracket:
This is a 5-8* bracket with 8 teams. There will be a max of 1 team per owner allowed in the bracket. If you enter an 8* team, it MAY NOT be 9* or higher at any point in this tourney. If your opponent, or anyone else, catches it being higher, you are DQ'd - No questions asked. Don't cheat, don't sandbag, let the folks with Starter teams have some fair fun.

Pro Bracket:
This is an 8-10* bracket for teams that would prefer to compete at a higher level. There will be 8 teams in this bracket. There will be a max of 1 team per owner in this bracket.

Signups:
Signups will be taken HERE at the Privateers in advance, or in the Privateers Clan Chat at 4:30 pm ET. It helps if I can seed and check star ratings early, so please signup in the forums if you can. I want to have this started no later than 5:00 pm ET, so if you show up after 5 pm ET there may not be a chance to get in. There will be one team total per person at this time, unless stated otherwise in chat.

Prizes:
Ultimate Winner: Deluxe Trainer Ticket
Runner Up (Likely to be the Starter Bracket winner): Choice of Monster or Letterbox Park.
