Subject description: Mission Impossible?

Inspired by the recent news of Footy being down, we decided to hunt for the man known as Commish. First, we of course went to the obvious places, AndNow.net and other places. And as suspected, no luck. So we go to the wonderful world of Google. We come to a profile of his on PlayNotWatch.com, here is his profile (with a pic). He signed up in April 5, 2006. His last post on the SmallBall forums was shortly after signing up for that website, on April 11th, 2006. So we sign up for the site and send him messages/friend requests. No word yet. Feel free to sign up and message the C-man.

Now, I search the WhitePages for E Annunziata, but no luck in the regular old WhitePages. So I search a Public Records and Background Check website and come out with 4 results of an E Annunziata in Montara,California. Here is the results. While it costs money I click on one of the names and its presents the information "Address History Includes: 4 Addresses in Montara, CA and 2 Addresses in Pacifica, CA". Now, hmmm, Pacifica? Sounds familiar. Well Pacifica Larks, ID: 2. Now I know its not very odd, but its an interesting tidbit. So where will this go? I dont have the money to do the search. But what would we find with that search? Its not much, but its more than we knew before. Anyone have other info?

Does anyone live in the area and want to go search for him?

Or maybe we could all have a big SmallBall Gathering outside Commish's house. You know, with torches and pitchforks and the whole deal.

The (650) numbers are no longer in service.

The number I was trying is: (707) 251 9186

Interesting...

Also, June 2008 the database expires. If someone doesn't come by then, that's when SmallBall will end.

Well, that's for andnow.net, which isn't SmallBall exactly, correct?

Anybody notice that the forums were down sometime last night?

My only conclusion, considering the lack of functionality wrt. football, is that GW is staging a massive coup coinciding with the anniversary of the IBM PC.

Considering people have lost money thanks to the SmallBall Mall, I don't think it's unreasonable to get some answers.

If you want to get the Commish's attention. There is one sure way.
Boycott SmallBall. From this day on, if everyone would quit spending money on anything SmallBall related he would notice.
Want his attention ? Grab him by the wallet. He'll notice that.

what if commish just got a new screen name and is one of us just trying to find him, and one day he just come out and says PSYCH!!!!

we could always give his number to telemarketers. they can find him anytime anywhere!

I think it's more than just a coincidence that my arrival came right in the middle of his vanishing.

It's the smallball version of where's waldo.

Who cares if we find him, we can't force him to care. If he still cared he would at least pop in once every few months to let us know he was alive.

I'd just be curious to hear what he had to say... Maybe he would actually pass SB onto somebody who can do the job that he can't make time for...

Better to try, then to sit here helpless.

If you want to get the Commish's attention. There is one sure way.
Boycott SmallBall. From this day on, if everyone would quit spending money on anything SmallBall related he would notice.
Want his attention ? Grab him by the wallet. He'll notice that.

Hey i think that is a good idea everyone stop buying tics for about a month and he'll comeback to see whats happening

WOW... not only does he have terrible grammar, but he also tries to correct other people incorrectly. I'm very impressed. Surprised

It was brought to my attention that this maybe a way to find out a games worth and get additional funding.

It was tried and succeeded with a few games in the past.

The way it works is, The owner of smallball leaves for 6 months, and says nothing, doesnt leave a goodbye note or anything. As the game goes on, people will either spend money or not. At the end of the 6 months you look at the the trend of spending. Its a way to see if the game can "float" with the least amount of maintenence. Then again i dont think that he was planning on the 7xx teams to mess up either. But this is just an idea on what may be happening.
