Foul ball bug?(not homerun) Subject description: odd foulout on the ground? |
|

today, i realized that my team was loosing 8-0 going into the top of the 9th. With Mike Morton batting with the bases loaded(at this point it was 8-2) an 0-2 count, he hits a foul ground ball down the third base line(it was one of the debateable ones). The opposition's third baseman picks up the ball right on third base and it records an out, resets the 0-2 count to 0-0 and every person stays on the bases with mike morton still batting. He ended up getting a single, but that is just odd I believe that this did thuroghly ruin my chances at winning this game. the final score was 8-4.
the game ID is 40120. this happened with one/two outs with mike morton batting on the only 0-2 pitch of the at bat.
i just wanted to see if you have ever encountered something like this before
thank you

Very old, well-known bug. Puzzling too, considering how SmallBall games are actually rendered. I really don't understand how a bug like this happens. _________________

| I've seen it happen. It's rare, but I think most veteran trainers have probably seen it. Accept it for what it is, and know it doesn't happen that often. |
