MLB Ttade Deadline.... |

What do you think will happen??
There are a few rumors involving Bobby Abreu, Craig Wilson, Jeromy Burnitz, Dontrelle Willis, Alfonso Soriano, Kevin Mech, and many others.
So my question is:
WHat do you think will happen. Who will get traded? What teams need to trade for the most, and what does that team need (EG: pitching hitting, bullpen) _________________ Can I get an amen from the bobbleheads?

I've heard Abreu could be traded to the O's for Miguel Tejada. Not sure why the Phillies would do this, since they already have Rollins... maybe Tejada will play 3rd?
I dont think my Red Sox will make any big moves. They might trade for a 5th starter, but that's it. _________________

I heard the Yankees might trade Melky Cabrera and a few minor leaguers for Pirates' Jeromy Burnitz and Craig Wilson (BAD MOVE: the yankees need young players like Cabrera. They keep on emptying their minor league roster of good talent.)
There have also been rumors of Abreu getting traded to New York, but I'm not sure for who. _________________ Can I get an amen from the bobbleheads?

Honeslty.....I would of thought the Cardinals would have went after Soriano & D-Train...its just stupid they aren't doing this...ya you could move Soriano back to 2B & move Miles to bench, but that puts another big bat in the lineup...D-Train could replace Suppan & be Dominate for the Cardinals because we have a lineup that will score runs for him.and seems D-Train & Cabrera aren't that much you could maybe get Miggy with him...and thats your LF...Seems good to me, and it seems legit & IT COULD HAPPEN if the cards weren't stupid & didn't even try. _________________

It's not like Soriano and Willis come at a small price. Plus they're leading they're division so they don't need to make MAJOR trades and they don't want to mess up they're chemistry. _________________ god only knows when your word isnt pure and the blood on your hands isnt yours. |

Yes, and the Indians should go after Albert Pujols, because he'd be another good bat. And they should get Liriano and Santana while they're at it.
Point being, Cabrera, Soriano, AND Willis would take a *lot* to get. You can't just say "LOL LOOK AT THOS GUD PLAYERZ I WANT DEM ON MY TEEM". You have to think this stuff through a bit more. _________________

I was reading the Cav's Message board, and in the off topic someone made a post saying that we (the indians) traded Bob Wickman for a AAA catcher--I think Pena from the Braves?
Is there any truth to this at all. There was no link posted, so I have to think it's false, but it sure scared me. |
