Kerry Wood |

For the 11th time he goes on DL. For cubs fans (like me) this means not much cause this season is pretty much done already. Kerry Wood has never met the hype surrounded him. He had a few good years then flush the rest. *$^% &#& [strike] &%$# *#^$ *#^$ GRRRRRR. If you had him on your Fantasy team now is the time to drop him. _________________

Prior had a few more years as a good pitcher then he turned into whoose. His troubles 3-4 years ago, i think. Kerry started geting hurt I'm not sure when. The problem with Wood is his delivery. He thowrs across his body & hurts him self every time he pitches. he's been told this & he won't change.
It's been every year now for I don't know how long. I'm not really sure when it all started cuase It's just been every year. _________________

Over the past 8 seasons (1998-2005) Wood has averaged 138 innings pitched per season. (including 1999, when he missed the entire season)
Over the past 4 seasons (2002-2005) Prior has averaged 153 innings pitched per season.
For comparison purposes, over their entire careers (since they became regular starters)::
Greg Maddux has averaged 230 innings pitched per season (1987-2005)
Roger Clemens has averaged 224 innings pitched per season (1986-2005)
These two guys seem to kill my fantasy team every year, especially Wood. I can't imagine being a Cubs fan and seeing this happen year after year. _________________

Oaf is like what your avatar is doing. Thats exactly how it feels. This years it worse with Lee being out & the entire team falling apart. Were bring up Pitchers from the minors to cover when they should still be down there learning & getting experience. I fear were in essence screwing ourselves for years to come. _________________
