Check internet connectiong. I get this also when my internet is not working atm and I try to open smallball.

I am not having that problem. it may be something to do with your firewall.. it is not something that smallball has done, this problem has something to do with your computer and/or internet etc. I don't know how it can be fixed, but the smallball servers ARE working for me.. i am training right now.
Just so you know, you posted properly the first time you made this thread.. by putting it in the bugs/problems forums

 because he is away for the weekend.. i do train my teams and they aren't 1*... i find it impossible for a team to be at 1* if they have been trained
