Keeps exiting me out while I train. Usually I make a schedule (or already have one), let them train, and do some other stuff. Recently it has been exiting me out for no reason. It started when I would be away from my pc and the monitor would shut itself off, now it's doing it while I'm still on and I'm worried it's gonna' get worse. Please help, someone.

I've actually had some programs that would shut DT down. Also, some screen savers do. Might check that.

Another idea, have you installed any internet security programs, or anything else that would be running in the background, lately?

I don't have any screen savers. I have a firewall, could that be shutting it down?

I didn't want to start a new thread, so I dug up my old post...I'm still having this problem, even more so now that I've had to switch computers. If I minimize the DT it exits after a minute or two; it even exits when it's open and I'm looking at it. It's very annoying and it's becoming very hard to train...Please help Exclamation

If you haven't already done so, be sure your java runtime is up to date, then go to the shortcut you use for starting SmallBall, go to the properties on it, and ensure that you have "C:\My Games\SmallBall\start.jar" (or whatever drive you have SB installed to) in the Target field of the shortcut.

Sounds like it may be a power management issue.
Go your Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager>Network Adapters.
Checked the properties of your adapter. There should be a Power Management tab on the top. Open that and be sure that "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked.

Thanks Safo and Kindred. I had the latest version of Java, but my target was wrong. And I must not have been managing my power correctly because it wasn't set to what you said it should be. Again, thanks Very Happy

Yes, it's fixed...I had seen other problems that were solved this way, so I guess I didn't really need to start (and bump) this thread. Next time I'll do a little research.

Wish I could take the credit, but I can't. I had the same type problems a while back, and had to research it and found the answers here in the forum somewhere.

That is very similar to what I had before. Check what I put above as well.
