right now i'm workin on speed training... i'm a new team and i have found my best pitchers, but when i play good teams... their speed is the thing that kills me.... is speed underrated? Confused

I wouldn't say speed is underrated, because I would rate it as one of the most critical skills. Got to have speed, since it contributes to both defense and offense (and some would argue pitching).

If you're losing becase the other team is faster than yours, then they need to run more. Wink

I try to make my teams very fast. I think It is a very important skill.

Running to me is very important.. faster players means a better defensive unit, and more bases reached.. Speed can really help you in a game.. and a lack of it can seriously hurt you.

I didn't train in speed at all, and down the road I strongly regret it. I rarely get doubles now and my people can't get to home on a basehit when their at second. Not to mention getting thrown out at 1st from left field. Laughing
