It's deja vu all over again.

Team 975 was an effort at a community team that didn't work out, hence the current name -Scuttled- . At the end of last season I decided not to let them die and played all their 4th PL games. According to my end of season report I dropped to PL 5. My PL link on the team page links to PL 5, but I'm not there. No Pl games listed on the team page or the watchamacallit page. "Well lets look at the home page and see how we did" I told myself - I talk to myself a lot - Problem is season 79 is the last PL season listed and has been for months and months. Well, I figured out last season was season 98 and I won 1 drew 5 and lost the rest. I don't mind being out of the PLs, I can get back in with one win in ten games played, but it would be nice to have some clue to whats going on.

The sad part is football is a good game and could be a really good game with a few improvements but us red-headed step-children of smallball get no respect at all. I don't think baseball does anymore either.

I am so looking forward to the season 100 celebration. Crying or Very sad

Also, the football PL schedule is frozen in time again. No updates, etc. Is there any chance we can get any respect?

Not sure if this helps, but I have always used this link:

http://www.smallball.com/small/soccer/98/prols.shtml

Just change the 98 to whatever season you need it to be.

First time i entered the PL's (season 92 or 93 i beleive) i came 6th, never come any closer to getting to 3rd.

Funny thing is, the closest i ever got to getting to 3rd league in Baseball is 1 place away from promotion.

gar! i hate this game

Yeah, but the thing is we are well over halfway through season 99, yet it's still showing Season 98 results!!

RESPECT -- I've pumped a bit of money into acquiring my teams [a few have been gifts, but the rest were paid for out of pocket] yet still there's nothing done to improve the game or even keep it current. It's insulting.

to truly understand how much they care about football, just look at the mall. they dropped the price to $10 for the christmas period and never bothered going back to change it. three months later it's still the same, the site still hasn't been updated and there's been no word about any of the changes we put forward at commishes request last year.

why do i bother?

The really sad thing about this is that I find Footy way more enjoyable than baseball, even though I like baseball more than Footy in real life. Footy is much more challenging and yet easier and quicker to train. Baseball takes too long and it's sad that they ignor it like this... Sad

i just noticed that, hopefully it's just the beginning.

the big league pages haven't updated. my team in the eight star list shows 8 wins but that was season 98. i don't think the 8 lists have been updated in quite a while either.

someone suggested, if the pro leagues die on smallball, to create our own pro leagues much like the EPL, SFL and USL that are privately run. i for one would support a privately run pro league. the only reason i don't enter the other leagues is time commitment (can't train/play every day) and renaming team (don't want to).
