no 10* teams |

i've never seen a 10* team in football. anyone have any ideas why? it must just not be possible, or at least i'd suspect as such given some of the great teams that have made 9* and maintained that level for a long time.

| Well 8* used to be the where the best teams were then it was moved up to 9* however in baseball when the 10* teams came basically anyone could get one( I had a few 10* teams....me). But it seems 9* is really the highest star to get to in football. |

They have the rankings so that goalie skill counts in the star rating for everybody, not just for the goalie. I would think that 10* would come if everybody was 10* in offense, defense, and Goalie skill, which are the three "skill" areas that account for your star rating.

cheers, that's exactly what i was thinking.
i don't have the TP to train my outfielders in goalie skill though!

But of course since AndNow doesn't fix that it counts for everyone we won't see 10* for awhile..If ever. |

| There are too many skills to balance and goalie skill does not even count towards your team's total star rating. Therefore, we will never have a 10* team unless something changes. |

what do you think the chances are of ever seeing those changes?
It seems ot have been awhile since there have been any real changes to the way the game works.. or have I missed something? lol

I think the only thing added since the full release was the corners...or was that in beta....

Corners were most definitely in during Beta, from what I've heard, yet don't know about, is that they changed bench's ability to retain skill to make it a little better since it seemed like if you put someone on the bench, they just got worse.
That's what I've heard, yet I don't know if it's true. Other than that, no. |
