You need some features that are similar to DT....

A clipboard with player scheduling and auto training is needed badly.

It would also be nice to toss the dedicated and zone training and combine them. That way, you could put guys in the dribble zone or kick while you work with others doing dedicated training for interception and reaction etc...

There should be a way to train all skills listed.

Keeper stats would be huge!

Player stats in game and training like BB...

AI is much better, but I would like to see keepers be more aggressive and go further out on the box for saves. If no one is close and the ball rolls in the box, then the keeper should come out for it. This would make it more important to keep your keeper's running skills up. If he is too slow, then maybe he gets out of position and gets beat every now and then?

For What it's worth

When AI was adjusted to add offsides, I think they went too far when attempting to reduce the breakaways. If a guy has his man beat and he's onsides, then they should drive it to the goal and take a shot. Too many times the player gets a step and about the time he gets seperation and the other player gets covered, he stops and passes the ball to the guy that is covered! Doesn't make sense. I agree, that was one of the things I mentioned on the football boards once. You know, thats where we used to talk about football. Its a ghost board now. I went in the other day and a tumbleweed rolled across the field pic that commish has up.

I thought that was your team doing the rolling. Are you saying it was a tumbleweed now?

I don't have a team......I have a DYNASTY

Good Ole Boys
The Weather Men
Eradicators!!!!

Plus the B teams in the stable that don't cut mustard in my camp, but I'll keep them around to dominate Football tourneys at SBL's in the future. You know, that's what we should do with SBL and his dumarse...we should get all the good teams to sign up for his tourneys and lock it out! Twisted Evil

NP I just think your misinterpreted the intention of Commish's post. Although the general public has access to this forum, it's intention is for those alpha testing, so I interpreted his post to mean that he wanted input from those of us that have actually played the game in it's current state. Most of the stuff you listed is already there in some form or fashion.

Still areas that need improvement the training zones/skills we can train in from my original posts ans e-mails. ESPECIALLY the GOALIES!!
1. Training in just more than Jump Skill, catch???????

2. Like the Pitcher in BB, the other skills that the goalie is not trained in should not effect the overall team * rating, why the hell do I care if he has drive and dribbling skill??

3. Additional skill areas to train other skills listed on the sort list and a more defined training area for reaction skill.

4. Back to this again, there are a lot of skills to train and I don't feel that the skill loss is slow enough for the amount of TP given to keep these teams trained at the level that they need to be. This could be debated but when I train the guy and he goes from yellow to brown after 2 days of the same training because I trained him in another area one day that the skill loss is reduced........too much rambling there!

5. With Cj on the clip board issue and better trainer needed!

6. Thanksgiving release??? Good Luck!! I think it can be done but there is a lot of work to go!

Those other skills factor into the rating of your team? No wonder I can't get 8*.

I think the best is to have 22 players in a team. That way u can the possibles play the probables, and change tactics as u train. U can even have the owner play with the asst trainer to fine tune the team.

There should also be a star player in the team, the best player in the team gets a star in his stats.

There should also have a Captain indicator to highlight the captain.

22 players would make for a nightmare to keep up with training. This will have to be a pared down version of reality just like BB. There's on 12 on BB and normally 18 or more on a real team.

The game is rendered (played out) before you even get a chance to watch it...So it would be impossible to change lineups etc. while watching it...You can't change something that has already happened

greek to place an avatar
1. i see that you put the [url] tags in your avatar box
2. take those out and it should work!

BTW, Commish, I think the positions should be added to team pages!
