i tried my SCR and i just have a few problems:
-how is the overall player star rating averaged? (My goalie is a 10* goalie, 7* defensive, 4* offensive, and his overall rating is 4*)
-and shouldn't the goalie star rating include running speed and reaction skill in addition to goalie skill?
Other than that, i think the report is very detailed with its calculation of individual player ratings. It seems pretty accurate. I think its ready for the public

Ditto. And I don't think it sent it to my e-mail address either. 
It helped alot. I realized that I had to remove Ben and Bob and put in two benchies because they were alot better. Almost 9* now...

However, I'm curious about the star calculations. 9 of 11 of my players are stated as 10*, with the other two at 9*, but my team is on the 9* page and my team is also usually at the bottom of the 9* page.
Also, what exactly is the goalie calculation. The average of jump and catch seems to be what it was in beta testing. Is the skill calculated just from goalie skill or some combination?
And it wasn't sent to my email address...

Everything worked OK on mine. Email came about 1 min after I enter the ticket.
I am also suprised to see all my players on the field (minus goalie) are at 10* overall

Everything worked OK on mine. Email came about 1 min after I enter the ticket.
I am also suprised to see all my players on the field (minus goalie) are at 10* overall

I have a question with the overall offence and defence calculation.
I had allways thought (and im sure i read) that drive was an offencive skill you taught your strikers so they could run fast with the ball and dribble was a defencive skill that improved a players chance of tackling the ball off another. I guess dribble also improves your chancee of not being tackled
Shouldnt dribble skill be part of the overall defencive * rating? its still good for offence but isnt it more important for defence?
EDIT; last i new there was no jump and catch skill in football, so why in goalie overall skill made up of those two skills? I would have thought it would be goalie and reaction skill, possible running |

Thanks for the SR Commish. I liked the setup of it and think that it's a great idea, but I still haven't received an email because I have the wrong email address on my team (yikes). Anyways, I don't know if I could perhaps get a copy of that SR sent to my new email address (Holdemhero11@astound.net), but as of now, I think that the reports work just fine and are a great idea. Thanks again.

thanks for giving us the opportunity to test drive the scouting report tickets. i have some questions that you may or may not wish to answer;

i'm not posting the actual scouting report for obvious reasons but here's my feedback as promised.
overall i think they're great, and would definitely invest in some were they to become publicly available. i liked the fact that you included the skill sorts as it enabled me to copy/paste into excel and do some extra "scouting" on my own. as far as i can recall these sorts weren't included on the baseball scouting reports, although this may have changed since i retired my team.
as hard as i tried i couldn't find anything to complain about. i didn't have to wait long for the report to be delivered to my email but even if i had, i simply copy/pasted it from the post validation dialog box into notepad and saved it as a txt file.

i'd hardly class that as a skill loss problem! his bench loss is obviously minimal so maybe start the backup GK and give the first choice a chance to rack up some extra TP.
regarding the SRT:
i used it for the third time last night and i'm a fan already. i find them very useful for tracking player development especially in the early days of a team. with the star ratings and the sort orders of the different skills i get a better picture of a players strengths and natural position.

Well, they're both at 10*, so the starter really doesn't need any extra TP. I just don't think that someone whose skill hasn't been trained in over a month should still be at the top level...it makes it all a bit too easy, no? Aw hell, maybe I should just shut up and count my blessings, eh?
