lefty |
|
|
so you know how lefty players provide a great advantage because when a player is on second, the second basemen plays practically on the base leaving a huge opening between 1st and 2nd? welll my delema is that the lefty my team came with mostly hits opposite way!!
Does anyone know what i should do to correct this, if I even can without having to buy a lefty ticket. I am ST team so if your solution is with the DT then i'll have to wait until next week for the free DT friday again... i'll be sure to save full TP (i forgot to save this week)
thanks for any help at all

You will need to train him in batting SKILL.
Skill training is much easier in the Deluxe Trainer.
Train your pitcher, until his TP is used up, (no sense in wasting it).
Put that pitcher on the pitchers mound, in the field.
Put your lefty in the batters box on the field, (not the power or contact cages).
Another method is to train him in contact (in the cage), until he is maxxed out, then he will get skill gains also. Unless you have the DT, it will be very tough to determine how far his contact skills are.
Last choice is to buy/trade for a couple QT Skill tickets. |

First, I would not consider switching your lefty to a righty. In the long run, players pull the ball. So taking that action would achieve nothing for you. Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about him hitting to the left side of the field. Just keep training and when he gets good enough he may start pulling the ball. And remember, it really doesn't matter where he hits the ball as long as he doesn't hit them to the fielders, right? Good luck with your SmallBall quest. _________________

to gain bat skill in the ST , put your weakest pitcher on the mound ( after you trained him , no need to use up his TP in pitching) . you will get contact , skill , with little power , to train in power , put your best pitcher on the mound , again you will get all 3 skills , but with more power numbers . One disavantage with the st trainer is that after you max your player in contact and skill , he will not gain any power skills , so it up to you which you want to attack it. Good Luck and be patient. _________________ It is difficult to say what is impossible , for the dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow.

It doesn't neccesarily have to be your weakest one. You will still gain Skill with anyone that you put in there. _________________

Actually the power numbers in ST are wrong.
It doesn't matter what pitcher you have you still gain skill. _________________

i meant buy a lefty ticket so that one of my righties become a lefty so i would have 2 lefties... and hopefully the new one woult pull the ball.
i'll try the advice you guys gave with the ST and next friday ill stick him in the contact cage thanks! _________________

Yes, they will gain skill, but it's been conjectured many times by many experienced trainers that your weakest pitcher gives you the highest skill gains.
As for power, well, nobody can say for sure, since the gains are so off, but it wouldn't hurt, now would it? _________________
