Ok the question is, which young trainer is most likely to win a championship. Who on the forum or otherwise seems to have distinguished himself enogh to say that he has the best shot of being something in the future. (to qualify under 4 months playing.)

And for the second question which young TEAM of any trainer has the best chance of winning a championship. This includes the great trainers out theres new teams and such. I think we should give some recognition to those teams and young trainers out there and I think it would be really cool if someone could ACCURATLY predict a future champion. (to qualify the team must currently be in the 5th league or lower) Feel free to nominate your own teams if you like their genetics and feel you can take them to the top for this catagory.

So who are your fantasy smallball picks Smile

My picks I suppose Im going with SB_Knight for the first catagory hitting 9 stars in just under a month. I really don't have a pick for the second catagory yet.

I've seen some teams that are young, 3* even, that are already hitting homeruns and beating 5* teams. I think they might have a chance, they have a good foot in the door I might say, being they have found pitchers too. I can't say who the trainer is because there is no forum link, but I would give them, in my guess, a good chance. Then again, I have only been around 2 days over a month, so I am not that much of a judge. Laughing

Cool, I dont think you saw but I nominated you for the first catagory, I edited it out before you posted so I think you missed it. You been doing way better than I was at 1 month I know that much.

I think SB_Knights' team named Knights will win PL1 in a couple of months. I've said this in other threads as well.

Not to rain on anyone's parade but... speed in gaining stars doesn't mean much when vying for a PL1 championship. My teams don't start performing well and competitively until well into their fourth month of being active. Anyone who's been here for less than four months is too hard to judge for the future. The most dedicated and smarter trainer will be the most likely candidate and (not discrediting anyone) but I don't see any prospects that jump out at me.

Funny how I have seen the same faces in pl 1 and 2 for years now. Lots of teams getting to 10*, lots of teams making noise..........but when the chips are down, it seems like the "same old, same old" for a long time now. Hope one of you young guns finally join the party

I've got a list of about 10 trainers im watching..

While he isnt young or new ( Twisted Evil

) anymore

dont put it past paphillyman..

he is the best of all th enew trainers Ive seen.. his teams are awesome and he'll do it befor emuch longer..

I'd bet the farm on it, if I didnt already lose it on the Auburn - Georgia Tech game earlier this season Crying or Very sad

This game has a tendency to get harder as you get better. You should never feel you got it figured, but you then find out real fast you don't. I would advice anyone to just keep training and trying new ideas in training. I doubt you will ever master it so don't think about doing that.

well I decided to come back and see what the weather is like. I thought maybe we could do something new with a league of some kind that might be fun.

I had to give up horseracing park for awhile because I can't afford to do much in it right now since Katrina screwed things up so bad. My twin sister lost everything and I am trying to help her so the extra money I had is gone. Not to mention, Katrina really did a number on us here too.

Many are still trying to get FEMA to do things and so much is just not there it is really hard times. Many lost work or was forced to work at less wages than before the storm so it is taking it's toll here. I had to come back to SmallBall or not have anythng to compete in online.
