BS if you ask me, Team Squarepants 11411 apparently rebirthed.

I completely disagree with this trainers action. Why rebirth in middle of a season? I went 1-1 against them this season as a 9* if this might count as anything.

Go get the easy win guys

Maybe it was an accident like the trainer put in the wrong ticket code Shocked . If that happened that would really suck for the trainer. It's very unlikely though.

It has to be an accident, why would anyone do that to their team that is defending the title and not doing to bad at it either.

I feel real sorry for that guy if that is the case.

Maybe it was another ranting Mommy.
This time a bit more craftier.
Poor Rob Crying or Very sad

This Mommy is not only yelling no more SmallBall in the house...apparently she is wise enough to set rebirths.

It cant just be an accident, you dont just enter the wrong ticket code, by the way, there is a reason for it.

It's his team to do with as he pleases. Maybe he was planning on re-birthing right after he won but didn't get his hands on a ticket untill mid season. Hell, maybe he just felt like re-birthing now and isn't all too concerence about winning again. It's his team, he can do as he pleases with them.

He is a cool dude in my book. I bet there hasn't been a 1* in PL1 ever. Who else has the guts to do the same?

It really isnt my business... so you should probably ask the trainer himself.

Some people actually enjoy re-building a team after they've made it to the top. I winning first league, and then re-building from scratch to win it again is a phenomenal feat.

I've used a ticket I didn't mean to or want to, but then again I was only around two weeks when I did it. Way big difference.

Does that mean you know the reason? I won't ask, it's his business, but I guess there is no reason for shock or anything if there was a reason.

I think he cheated last season.
It took him all week to search through the house cushions to collect enough bux to buy a re-birth & erase all evidence.

Now everybody shut up cause you know I've pegged it.

BTW: poor C-22 he got the poopy end of the stick

Thats the part I dont understand. Why play a PL game today, and then rebirth? But it is his business, and he can do as he pleases. Im just glad I won the PL game I initiated vs him yesterday, or I would really feel stupid right now.

Maybe he wants to see if he can build himself back up to be good enough to not fall completely out of PL?

Now that sounds like it would be a fun task for a quality trainer to try and do.

I'm surprised no one has brought up the possibility that maybe this wasn't his decision. It's possible that someone got his password and rebirthed them out of spite.

As far as I can tell, he never made any mention of this. (Not even in the Privateer boards).

This smells of fish.

Everything is speculation till Rob says something. I did notice his other team in PL 2 "Project X' with a retirement ticket on.

BTW GM...........he played LA first and then rebirth. I wouldnt have said anything if he had rebirth and then played that game. He only lost by a run, and almost won.

Now you guys are making me throw up. Don't fool yourselfs......everyone here wants to win. I love Rob.......but are we talking about the same person? The person that made the thread a few years ago about Iso playing his team that was in PL 1 over and over in BL and causing teams in PL 1 to see how his team was doing. The person that complained about Smith and LCD playing multiple UL games to start the season. ect ect ect

Rob is a great trainer, and probably one of the best but.......Don't be mistaken.........he wants to win, as do most of us here. Everyone agrees on that he can do what he wants to do with his team, thats not the point. The point is......NO word to any of us that are in PL 1 with him. Disrespectful to us in PL 1 to not at least say something, and give free wins to some and loses to others. At least a post would have been nice to see before seeing this. I retired a team while in PL 1 myself, not worried what anyone thought, but out of respect to the other trainers in the league...........I posted first.

To give my final opinion........anyone that really knows Rob.......knows that if the wheels were turned and someone else did this to him in PL 1..................I cant even begin to state what would have been said. LOL

Laughing Can't we all have a good laugh over this. It's hilarious! I think he did it on purpose as a big joke! It's going to wreck the honor of a lot of those PL1 teams. I didn't think it was that funny until I looked at the team page. C'mon everyone, just laugh about it. Ohhhh, team Squarepants...

Rob is the best damned trainer in all of SmallBall and has been for some time. If he chose to rebirth [] I'm sure he had a very good reason to do so. Enough said.

Team Squarepants (11411) definately has a forum link to RomeoFootball. I can assure you it was linked to Xtreme a few hours ago. Must have been recently changed. Someone else mentioned a retirement ticket being entered on another one of Xtreme's teams. It's a week that a lot of people take to go out of town, which makes me wonder.

i want to know why when u clik on the forum link it goes to romeofootball

Team Squarepants (11411) definately has a forum link to RomeoFootball. I can assure you it was linked to Xtreme a few hours ago. Must have been recently changed. Someone else mentioned a retirement ticket being entered on another one of Xtreme's teams. It's a week that a lot of people take to go out of town, which makes me wonder.

That is the original owner of [] pants before X made them into such a awesome team. I guess I jumped the gun vs Rob a little, and said things because of him not telling us in PL 1 about doing this half way through season. I was wrong and apologize to a person I call a friend (Rob)and talk to all the time. Guess it wasnt his doing.......was it.

My mistake. I thought I'd seen Xtreme's profile through the Squarepants team page, but now I realize it was through Jagriff3's link higher up in the thread. Embarassed

and give free wins to some and loses to others.

Whatever the circumstances behind this, even if Rob intentionally rebirthed his team, no one can complain because all 9 teams challenged T.S. before the team was rebirthed, so those wins and loses were legitimate. And the only game T.S. initiated was a loss. So this is in no way unfair to any team in PL1.

What this is is really unfortunate and sad. I love competing against Rob. I was really psyched to make PL1 this season so that I could have the opportunity to compete against the defending champion T.S. once again. I'm bummed for me and bummed for Rob if something unintended happened.
