Hey Commish,

I have only been back a few weeks, but this place is dead! I can remember when folks were crowding OSBF and TTM's on a Friday night. Whatever happen to the smallball weekend tourney's? It use to be that all of the chats were filled with folks trying to catch up on all the gossip and controversy.

This lack of activity can not be good for your business or the building of the community.

How would you like to meet me in a community debate Sunday night at the OSB chat? We could debate why the community has gone to sleep and what we each would propose to live things up again.

I might even play dirty and give away a few prizes to the "peanut gallery"
just to keep things interesting. Wink

Later,
Mater

The fact is, this community is old and most have gotten to know one another, when that happens people tend to not like the other, go talk to the newbs and lay off C

Yea LCD has kinda been slacking on Monday Mayhem so those days have been missed.
It would be a good idea to get tourney's started every weekend. The PvT clan still has its tourneys on friday and saturday night, im guessing.

If anyone would like to help with an every weekend tourney pm me please. All we need is a group of dedicated people to get this thing going.

dont blame me for anything. I held on so much longer then the other regular tournament hosts but lack of support made me practically stop it.

Same here. I've pretty much written this off as dead. Used to love running my tourneys, especially Sunday Smash, but just ain't worth it if you have to beg for participation. When you have to do that, you just have to start to ask the question why do it if people aren't interested...and it's obvious that interest has died.

Are we going to see a debate tonight?

The chatroom is rather quiet at the moment, but a few more could get it going. It may be a little early still.

Doesn't sound fair to me.

LCD is also responsible for the downfall of society as a whole. And high gas prices. And the New York Yankees.

Without LCD, the world would be a better place.

I have to disagree with your statement about Sol. I bet most others would, too. IMO, the only real problem here is people who feel the need to take their frustration out on someone else after making a small mistake.

Commish never agreed to it, so I guess Mater decided not to show. I did catch Commish in chat yesterday. There was a nice group there for that.
It's a little disappointing, but it is the last day of the season so there's other stuff going on.

Well, I sparked up a lot of contriversy when I came but I find that most people want to be laid back and friendly here.. nothing wrong with that.. I wouldnt mind seeing the debate though.

Commish and Mater had an earlyTthanksgiving dinner together, they spoke and worked a few things out. Their dinner was so good and delicous, they began to giggle and play footsies with one another.
