As I was hoping would not happen, when I used a Rookie Ticket on a Lefty poor performer, he turned into a righty. Not quite what I wanted and he better not be as bad as the other guy.

OMG....After reading Llama's post I went back and checked each player. Turns out the guy I rookied was a righty before because I only had 4 lefties and there are still 4.

I think previously I was thinking of using a Rookie on one of the Leftys but didn't Rookie that guy when I finally used the ticket.

Sigh...thanks for clearing that up. I'd heard rumors that rookies could change batting side, but hadn't seen anyone actually say it themselves. It was always a friend of a friend of a friend.

I've rookie'd two lefties on my 12 Lefty Team, and both have stayed Lefties so I would assume that they stay...or I'm just really lucky.

LMAO! No big deal... Just was thinking that if you were going to Rookie players on a lefty teams SR's would actually be cheaper becuz rookies would have to be bought and a lefty ticket to lefty him back! Razz

big mistake natural lefties are a gift and I hate to say it but you just burned one out for a natural righty. If hes a poor performer he needs training or time. Certain players have bad seasons from time to time for reasons you may not always be aware of. Lefty ticket him.. but he still wont be a natural lefty.
