nfl week 5 predictions |
|
|
i usually do my picks on wednesday, but i wont be here tomorrow so Ill do it today. a very good week last week for me finally.
last week- straight up- 11/14
w/spread- 9/14
4 week total- straight up- 34/60
w/spread- 31/60
so here we go again...
Panthers (3) at Cardinals- this game more interesting than it seems. Panthers nearly lost to the Packers last week and let farve throw 4 td's. im going for the cardinals as my upset pick of the week.
Patriots at Falcons (2.5)- Vick usually cant do anything against the pats defense. dont expect things to change, especially since vick will be playing hurt. so im taking the pats.
Dolphins at Bills (2.5)- why not continue the trend of picking underdogs. dolphins have a bad offense. bills have a terrible offense. so im going for the dolphins.
Bears at Browns (3)- lets continue the trend.... oh wait a minute, i cant get too crazy. almost picked the bears, man what a stupid pick that would have been. Browns to win and cover.
Redskins at Broncos (7)- could see an upset, but im going with the broncos to win a close game and not cover.
Ravens at Lions (1.5)- Ravens continue their road to recovery this week w/ 2 wins in a row.
Saints at Packers (3)- Packers made a nice comeback yesterday. fell a little short though. but they got to win eventually. farve will stay as the starter (i mean i wouldnt want to be the coach to sit him down). Packers finally win this week and cover the spread.
Titans at Texans (3)- Texans showed they could play defense last week so look for the Texans to finally get a win this week. Note to Texans fans, dont get too excited, they will be lucky to win 2 games this year.
Colts (14) at 49ers- imagine what the spread would be if the colts were the home team!!! (maybe 25) colts showed their offense. 49ers got no defense. Manning to throw 5 td's. colts win and cover. dont be surprised to see the colts get close to and maybe break 50 pts. top pick and blowout pick of the week (49-7)
Bengals at Jaguars (3.5)- bengals are awesome so bengals win the game. enough said.
Eagles (3.5) at Cowboys- mcnabb to owens for 3 td's. eagles win big and easily cover.
Seahawks at Rams (3)- uhh wheres my coin. oh there it is. heads... so seahwaks. really couldnt care less about this game though.
Bucs (3.5) at Jets- if bollinger starts, bucs win and cover by a score of like 24-3. if testaverde starts, bucs win and cover by a score of about 14-10.
Steelers at Chargers (3)- best game fo the week. Steelers coming off bye should be well rested so they will win a really close game that comes down to the last 2 minutes.
as always some1 can challenge me.. _________________ Go Giants!!! |

Panthers (3) at Cardinals- Panthers will win this one fairly easily
Patriots at Falcons (2.5)- Patriots are overrated this year i don't care what anyone says. Pitsburgh should have easily beat them. Falcons by a TD
Dolphins at Bills (2.5)- Bills will win with over a hundred from McGahee
Bears at Browns (3)- The Bears. The Browns are terrible
Redskins at Broncos (7)- Broncos will win a close one
Ravens at Lions (1.5)- Lions win. Ravens QB situation is just awful
Saints at Packers (3)- Packers Favre will get it done
Titans at Texans (3)- Titans by at least 7
Colts (14) at 49ers- Colts easily, I don't need to explain
Bengals at Jaguars (3.5)- Jaguars in my upset
Eagles (3.5) at Cowboys- Eagles win in a close one
Seahawks at Rams (3)- Rams by 3 or so
Bucs (3.5) at Jets- Bucs easily jets=no offense
Steelers at Chargers (3)- Steelers will shut down Tomlinson and win by at least 7. I'm also a die hard Steelers fan so of course I'll say that, although even if I was impartial I'd still think the Steelers would win. _________________ 230128 |
