what if he chooses "the the"? oh wait, there was already a band called "the the" in the 80s. i remember cause i was sorting my cds alphabetically and couldn't decide what to do with that one.

i think practicing, writing songs and having a good sound is more important than the name. the name should really be the last thing you decide on.

acahly sometimes the name can be quite important if you choose a name like the alphabets then no one will take you seriously and they will make fat jokes at ya (e.g the magic numbers)

Decent band were The The (forget the guys name) but i bet many more people know of this band from the latest Dockers commercial......used the song "this Is the Day" (great tune btw). And many may have heard of Infected, prolly his break thru single waaaaaay back.

Anyway Band names:

My fav name ever for a band if i was to make one again - Kinky Afro.

Others:

The Nerve
Bottled
Cfer

Try the Acronym style:

So
My
Attitude
Lacks
Love
But
Also
Lacks
Luster

and all your loyal fans could consider themselves to be: "Baller's" or SB'ers .. etc.

I can see your 1st hit single now .....

"24 hours / 48 hours"

...... featuring the chours line of:

never enough time in the day

to get all the things done that thought I could

it's almost like I planned it that way

I just feel like I am running nowhere

never making strides or getting things straight

I am just swinging for the fences but only hitting the air

I am just swinging for the fences but only hitting the air
