Actually now that you mention it, I did notice one time when I started watching the game in about the 6th inning that their little faces, with the overly large chins of course, had a downward cast to them.
Once they noticed I was there you could kind of see them puff out their little chests and have a noticeable spring in their step. |

There's the disadvantage of not REALLY REALLY knowing your team if you don't watch, too  I watch the games when I can so I can say to myself, "Oh, this guy needs help with THAT, and HE definitely needs to work on his catching," etc etc

Lol.. So the entire game is like a 2-second blur! Lol (I don't use that time speed up patch thing, lol.. it sounds kinda cool, though..)

The real answer is YES, and I'll tell you why.
IF you never watch your team play and you have players in the wrong positions.......throwing to wrong base..........missing fly balls........not running fast enough to get to a ball before it hits the gap..........letting the ground ball go right though your legs at second and shorstop positions, and many other things like............best homerun hitter playing in the 8th spot in lineup, or gettings lots of hits but not scoring runs. Then you better start watching games instead of going by sort lists. Performance is key..............and if the trainer and manager of the team doesnt watch and learn what his team is doing...........will it affect his team?
So yes.............if you never watch your team ever play, it will affect the team. |

Timeshift is cool for finding out the score of a game if you're not gonna be there to see it..
BUT I don't normally use it, because after you Fast Forward thru the game it still wont let you start a new one until the game would normally be over.
There's is no real advantage in using it to FF thru a game.
Would be cool if you could use it, then start another game immediately afterwards.

I am like any other sports fan when my team is doing well, I like to watch them, but if they are playing bad,and they get worst, I turn it off.  It has no way to affect the out come no what so ever, but like many have said here, it does help you determine correct positions, and where a little more training may help a certain player.  Outcast
