We at the christian smallball group need a logo for our group. Although the group is small, a logo/banner is still needed. I have no idea what an award will be if any.

Catholicism is a part of Christianity... Is it really that much of a problem?

Yeah, there is a difference from Christianity and Catholicism. Although there both looked at as the same, there kinda not. Catholic's mainly are taught that Mary is just as equal if not better than Jesus, I should know, I was sorta raised Catholic. Catholics also say "Hail Mary" prayers, where Most other parts of Chriatianity dont. Although now that Protestants and Episcibals (Forgive me if you know how to spell these correctly, but I have very bad spelling skills  please also put into consideration, that it's 5AM here, and i'm geting ready for school ) have lately adopted ash wednsday and other Catholic beliefs. Where as Baptists have stayed the same for a long time. Baptists believe that in order for you to go to Heaven, you must be saved and Baptised. If you want to discuss this anymore, go to this website that I part-run, and start a discussion there.

My point was that Cathloicism is just as much a part of Christianity as Protestantism, so maybe you should call your site 'Protestants of SmallBall' rather than Christians if you're going to be that picky.
I was born and raised a Lutheran Protestant, and now I find myself at a Catholic University. My biggest beef is when people draw too many distinctions between the two religions, because they are both branches of Christianity, and while they may have different customs and methods, the two sects both have the same ideas more or less at the core of their beliefs.
I don't mean to pick on you, these types of things just bother me, up there with people thinking that Jews and Muslims worship a God different from Christians.

You really need to get your facts straight. Just because you were "sorta" raised Catholic does not make you an expert on Christianity.
For the record - Catholics do not put Mary on the same level as Christ, but honor her as the mother of Christ. This is so, because God would not have chosen an unpure vessel to deliver his only Son. Mary's faith was so pure and strong that she was chosen above all women for this duty. Her faith and committment to God are excellent examples for all of us to follow.
Also, from a point of history - comparing the Catholic church to a Baptist church is like comparing cashews with almonds - they might both be nuts, but the taste is entirely different.
