Scince all the clans I have been in have died I am gonna try and go for my own clan.
My first clan ever was BYSB. The Backyard SmallBallers.If anyone would like to join it or would like to see it up and running again then please post em.

Between the members of ASC, BYSB, TKB...and the rest of the come and goers, you guys swap clans like mad. Talk about loyalty....  I bet most of you have been members of at least 3 clans in the past 6 months!

I HAVE BEEN ACTIVE IN MY SMALLBALL HISTORY IN ONE MONTH I HAVE HAD 635 POSTS AROUND THERE AND STILL GOIN! i like clans though they make smallball fun (~SBW~) were i am at now! the awesome starting to dull though but we are trying! |

i know. if they all just made one clan together they probably wouldn't fail. that's what ASC was. all other clans fell b/c of it. then everybody left it b/c they wanted power and all that stupid $%#@. guys, don't you get it?? don't make five clans b/c then members will be spread out making your clan inactive. just make one clan and everything will be better.

For the most part I'd say that's the truth. I was a part of ASC and from what I saw...ppl left and others followed...which is what I believe ultimately caused ASC to disband. A few of us stuck it out to the end...1 and only clan I've ever been a part of.

In their defense, most 'swap' clans because their previous one dies. Rather than trying to get into a stable and established clan, the now-destitude members look for the next 'up and coming' clan that they can join and hope for a powerful position as a mod or admin.
That's sort of what my case was when I joined BYSB, I went for the newly formed clan practically begging for members, hoping that if I played my cards right, I could be a 'founding member' of one of SmallBall's most successful clans. When McNabb and I realized that there wasn't anything BYSB could offer that the other clans didn't already have, we decided it was time to stop living in a fantasy and wake up.
So, I think the problem with all of these new clans being created and then dieing is that they don't have anything unique to offer to their members, it's just people (many of them kids) who want power over others or their own special place in SmallBall history.
