| I trained mainly in defense and mad it to 7* easy without hitting a HR or scoring many runs per game. Once i started trainning in offense i was 8* in about 2 weeks without training 4 days (2 periods of 2 days) in the process. |

Schedule. I used ST.
Monday:Hitting
Tuesday: Pitch all players even if you ahve found your pitcher. This helps in throw gains.
Wednesday: Errr dang ST running.
Thursday: Day of Rest
Friday: Both Cages in DT. This can change depending on what your need.
Saturday: Defense. Let your guys throw around a lot.
Sunday: You chose what ever you need to do. _________________

Actually, the throw gains from the mound in ST are incorrect, you're actually not getting muhc in terms of throw on the mound, you're much better off doing some longball training if you want throw.
And because I feel like being long-winded today, I'll give the directions for longball training as I remember them from when Kyle originally posted about it:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Open the ST, make sure Fielding is turned off under Training.
2. Click on your third baseman.
3. Turn on Fielding, two balls should be thrown to 3B, he'll catch the first, but the second will go right past him and land on the other side of the foul line.
4. Turn Fielding off as soon as the first ball is thrown from 3B.
5. You're third-baseman will run for the second ball, as he's running, click on him in such a way that he freezes in place (this takes some work at first, as far as I can tell, there's no good way to explain it, just experiment by single-clicking him until he freezes).
6. You now have just one ball to train with (this is what we want, don't worry).
7. Put your two players you wish to train in throw in RF and LF (put two players near each other on the throw sort list for best results).
8. Click either the LF or RF, turn on fielding, then click the two players so that they throw the ball back and forth to only each other* (this is easily the second worst part of ST training, after running, in my opnion).
*I've found that rather than clicking on the players themselves for this step, it's easiest to click their names on the sort list (because they don't move).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
While this can be painfully boring, I've found it to be the best way to get throw gains in ST. Don't quote me on this, though, I'm no expert. I'm just passing on what I learned back two years ago when I first started SB. _________________

this is one of the hardest things to do with ST (I'm assuming) but be patient and it will come. _________________ 73298 l 4044

Nah, not really!
If you train your ST team properly to start with, they will shoot from 8* to 9* in no time. (properly-meaning NOT the maurice2211 method ) _________________ Tomorrows Past Is Yesterdays Future

1. Pick 4 random players and call them your pitchers
2. Pick random players to play positions.
3. Train everybody in the same thing everyday.
4. Train at random times of the day. (even if you have 1/4 pie)
5. Only run once a week.
...Follow these steps and I assure you that you will NEVER reach 9* with your ST team! (eventhough I accidently did it twice ) _________________ Tomorrows Past Is Yesterdays Future

can some1 help me out? my team has two GREAT pitchers, a great infield, great power from my two lefties, but my outfield sucks! They cant hit, run or throw! I train them all the same way too! Also, if my pitchers dont throw past 110MPH, should I train them in hitting too then? _________________ Devastators 514243 9* 10.2 Honor

pitchers-if they are your true pitchers they should go over 110. try maxing them in throw.
outfield- try training everybody in defensive aspects. don't weakness train (it's their weakness for a reason). get to know your [players and pretty soon their positions will become clearer. _________________ 484371 9*

in order for me to buy a team, you need money. I applied for jobs everywhere, but nobody hires me. I'm a good worker too, thats what i dont get. Also, my folks are having a hard time here too, and the belts are so tight, that they snaped yesterday. _________________ Devastators 514243 9* 10.2 Honor

is it possible to reach 9* through a passive trainer team?
It doesn't seem likely at all _________________ 230128 |

If the team plays alot, and I mean alot, over a long time sure they can reach 9* on PT _________________ Woodland Blue Jays |
