Since every player has a different genetic profile, does that mean each team has a maximum potential level of ability regardless of how well the players are trained or positioned? In other words, are teams predestined by their genetic makeup to achieve a predefined level of ability beyond which they can not go? If that is the case, I can see an immediate loss of interest when the owner realizes he or she has no chance of a first league slot.

While I do believe each player has their own "genetic makeup" I also believe that each team has several player with the ability to be truly awesome, on the other hand I also believe each team has players that could never amount to anything.

So, I guess to me it kinda evens out.. I also believe that every team ever "born" has a legit chance of making PL1 and winning. Just not every trainer has the ability to guide them there.

In Football, that sums it up right there. When they eventually bring in rookie tickets to this game, that will completely change.

with the "Current State" of SB Soccer, do you think we'll ever see Rookie tickets? I dont know, Id think alot more people would have to get into the game before we see tickets like that hit the Soccer world..

don't you think that it might actually create a bit more interest in soccer, if they introduced some tickets?

Based on the fact that it seems as though Commish has some sort of development deal to put soccer on cell phones, I'd say that all the assorted tickets are coming some day.

And yes, I do think it might create some interest. More than it would lose, actually....which is sad, in a way.

how would that be sad though?

The point of having something like smallball (if you're andnow) is to make money. if you're just a player its better to have more teams to compete with.. isnt it?

It would be sad from my standpoint because I know that a lot of longtime players would probably quit. From an Andnow standpoint, I'm sure it would be wonderful.

I think that more tickets in football would be great. I would definitly buy a team if the competition increased and that would be very beneficial to andone

Not to mention that there are probably only about 200 or less active teams right now, so everybody has pretty much already played every team. It's sort of a fraternity. It's nice knowing who owns each team you play. It's even better because then you can rub it into their face until they beat you next time. Embarassed

I think that rookies and such would kill the skill required for this game. Any average player could just come in, open his wallet and replace every 'bad' player on his team. It's just not cool at all. Winning a PL1 with what you were given requires a lot of skill and gives a lot of pride. I just don't like the idea at all. QTs are enough along with stadiums. Any other tickets to enhance an owner's ability is a downright awful idea. It's not our faults they suck so much!
