I keep hearing how finding a Goalie is not important at first, but my team will have 4 shots against it and 4 goals against. So, as a result I have focused on finding a goalie. Training odd guys one day and even the next and rotating the benched guys. Is catching skill or jumping skill more important to a good goalie? What are your thoughts?

I think reaction is very important too, as is run speed, to a lesser degree.

But be sure to train him in interception! My goalie was pretty decent at stopping balls on the fly, but every little dribbler was going right through his legs. Smile

Both jump & catch skill are important but u can train them easily Wink try to train one of ur 3 top guys in reaction list & not just one day give it a week or so he might be the goalie u need! Cool

Yes finding a goalie is important.
A player with good skills in Jumping, Catching and reaction are usually a good choice (After training them all equally in goal of course) then training them in running and interception after finding your 'ideal' keeper is a good idea also.
