Can we hold off on that until I get my teams to 9* for the first time... I'm on the 8* list and will make it in about a week to 9*.

I agree that for those of you who make 10* easily that it could not be that fun, but I'm struggling to get 9* here...

I suck so what...

For us that make 10* easy?

Heres a tip for you.... Have patience, learn your teams weaknesses, not in skill but playing.... Look at your stats, dont worry if your 8*, 9*, or even 10*...

Personally, I wish people would stop trying to lobby for skill loss changes either way. With all the problems that SmallBall had in the recent past. It would make more sense to me that a skill loss level be decided and then not changed for a while. On the other hand maybe the skill loss was not intentional in the first place, and now we are getting less, so that some of us who do know our teams, have patience, and train are able to regain what was lost. I hope that is the case.

Thanks - Bill

Some trainers make 10* with what seems to be little effort, not that I am down playing the time and effort that they are putting in to it. It's not that I care if they 8,9,or 10*. I just want that badge on my team page..... I can be 9* for a minute for all I care as long as I get the badge.... And they (my teams) win, and you're right that's a good tip.. I'll take all advice I can get.

Totally agree Bill, good post. It will never satisfy anyone. Its either too fast or too slow. I prefer stability.

GHG, you state they have to do something to prevent too many 10* teams, then proceed to tell lith to not worry about his * level. Well, if you are worrying about too many * levels, aren't you doing exactly the opposite of what you told lith?

Who cares how many 10* teams there are or aren't. its about how your team plays.

I couldn't agree with you more. I'm sick and tired of skill loss constantly being adjusted. Enough is enough now! This game needs stability. Especially, after the disastrous past few weeks. The current skill lose level is FINE! I see no need for it to be altered in ANY way.

This (see picture below) is for ALL those who want to whine about skill loss now. It wasn't good enough, then it changed, now it's too low, turn it up about 50%, no 67%, no wait 72%. I have 3 teams that all were hit with it in different ways - deal with it, and move on. Yea, so my teams suck and I have new challenges, but that is why I'm here, or still here!

This is in no means directed towards anybody, just stop with the skill loss whining - one way or the other! Just keep it the same-whatever it may be (low, high, just steady).
Now, since it is so cold here (not supposed to be) - FLAME AWAY! Laughing

now i normally wouldn't argue, but my team was 9* two days ago and i trained them both days and they are now down to 7*, also the order of my players skills have changed almost entirely, i think the Commish put skill loss back on, maybe just a bit too much though.

I thought it was mentioned that the skill loss change was not intentional.

I agree the MOST IMPORTANT thing is that it remain stable.... Whatever that may be...

Is this in ST? If so...I know it has temper tantrums with me when I go to train pitch. It takes longer than everything else for me to gain. Also, .01 gains in pitch there does not mean much. It give .01 sometimes. Wait for DT to check if its maxed.

Yes, it means they're maxed in pitch skill and throw skill

So which would give quicker (NOT BETTER) gains in throwing for a pitcher?

The mound or the throwing area(what is that called anyway?)?

IT TAKES WAY TOO LONG TO TRAIN I can have the old boy throwing at the pitching station the whole time it takes to train the whole team in throwing... Oh answered my own question didn't I, and now I'm to lazy just to close this window and not post this...

But if I'm lazy why is that I'm still typing....

Some questions that I have for the 10* teams...

What distance do your players throw on average, what is the maxed throwing distance of your best player? (ie,.. Can a player throw 200+ft?)

Does anyone pitch at 120mph??

Does anybody every get blinded by the sun and have the ball hit them in the forehead causing them to be benched for the remainder of the game...(lol)

about 180-190

I haven't.. there is a dt trick.. but speed does not mean best

Not to my knowledge..

I think that SmallBall should have injuries, it would make it more interesting, but it would be bad if your pitcher got injured and you only have one of them. Very Happy

I know exactly how you feel, Lithodora. I have been playing this game for nearly a year now; and still no 10*! I'm not training anymore; but it was hell when I was. It was getting worse and worse seeing new people come along and get 10*s so quickly..

And another thing: who cares about star ratings? Don't take this the wrong way, because I'm sure that 10* is a lot of people's pride and joy, but it's still all the same. The best teams will show they're the best; and from what I hear, there are always some "bad" 10* teams. First you whine about not enough skill loss, then you whine about too much: MAKE UP YOUR MIND! Rolling Eyes

I have some guys throwing 180+, avg seems to be 165-180.

My pitchers seem to max at 112 mph with normal FPS...but they can hit 117 by upping the FPS. Since the skill loss problems tho, upping the FPS has been all over the place in gains.....its really hard to be consistant doing it.

Before the problems I actually had hitters that could whack it 500+ feet in the power cage Very Happy, however now the best ones barely hit past 400 feet.

Give us consistency!
