In may I will have been playing with #6798 (I was gone for a time)for 3 years. And I've wondered before how many other "original owners" there for the under #50,000 teams. Teams that are more than 2 years old really. A whole load of the people I used to play with no longer play. There is a lot of inactive teams. The team numbers are really high now. And the #900 were sold, so they are different. They already are special.

It would be really cool to get a badge on the team page. but it would be impractical because it take verification. I suppose the Real Forums could be used to verify that the owners an "old timer".

It was just how blank my team page looks without any pretty badges besides the DT. I'm very glad to have it too! Very Happy

That's why I was going more for the Original Owner thing more.

It would be cool to have a contest to design the badge even. Have people submit an icon for the proposed badge and the winner gets a Qt pitch ticket or something. You know I'm talking to you commish. lol

I think since smallball itself is soon to be 3 years old, and Old Timer should be defined as such. That way there are no Old Timers yet. And will be a few months till there is.

Give time to add such things to the team pages or atleast for me to make a listing...

I've had #1568 since 1/28/01. I'm coming on to 3 years in a month and a half. I had someone else train them for just a little bit while I was incapacitated, so-to-speak......lol Wink

Hiya,
Of the 3 teams i have now, i only have 1 original and that's #30080 born on 10/2/01. I had aquired quite a few teams at one point. One day way back when i did a search in the old real forums on, i think it was "free teams" and found 5 teams with fairly low id's that were left for dead. I kept #15120 and traded the 4 others for #112191, which i thought was a purdy good deal for me since #112191 had DT. I did have #14217 for a while, but since have given them back to Chatty, who returned to the game.

So many teams i've had and let go, but only 1 original!! Very Happy

14600 has always been trained (rebirthed twice) and has just for the first time hit 9*. (commish I told you they were broken before the supermeatflingz bug got popular). Rolling Eyes
