Why should there even be a driving skill if NO ONE is going to drive the ball? Please tell me this is something you guys are going to fix. Sharp passing is important and fun, but for christ's sake if the guy has no one between him and keeper, then should'nt he drive into the box and take a shot? Help me out here Geezer...is there somekind of Soccer rule that keeps them from doing this?


Oh BTW....IMO...I would not recommend a 3-3-4 formation to anyone my guys do pretty well with 4-4-2 and 4-3-3, but when you have four offensive guys they suck pretty bad.

Geezer...good game this morning with the 1-1 draw. Wink

I don't 100% understand what you are trying to say but as far as i can gather you want driving removed? I dont think it should be removed just implemented better, like you say they should drive right into the box and shoot but at the moment even when it is 1 on 1 with the keeper they take a shot wildly instead of running close and gently tapping it past him.

As for the formations, i agree, my guys live happily on the 4-4-2 formation.

The statement was facetious...You need driving skill of course, but the point is that they don't drive the ball. Driving is supposed to be the ability to run while dribbling right? Well, they don't run while dribbling especially if they are near the box. They pass dribble towards the box a little and then look to pass the ball. You just about have to have a guy already in the box to pass to in order to even get a shot on goal. You are having the same problems I'm speaking of because I've watched our games, have you noticed it?

Yes, its can be quite annoying. There are a couple of AI tweaks that need to be done at the moment to get it perfect.
BTW, i see the draw now, and a nice 3-0 win after that Mr. Green
