just spent the last 3.5 hours training my team in pitching using the deluxe trainer.dt shut off on me b4 i was done with my last guy.i restarted dt and now have a team full of whole pies.im guessing i just wasted the last 3.5 hours?did i do somethign wrong or is this a server related issue that crops up from time to time?thxs in advance for your time with my questions.

I would say so about the server issue. No way it should take that long even with a new team, 45-60 minutes tops.

If I were to train my whole team with full pies in just pitch it would probably take 3-4 hours aswell, I always thought that was normal, thats why I crank the DT up when I want to do training like that.

That's probably it, fps setting, been a while since I did that myself at low speed!

u gotta change ur fps settings when you are doin pitching, it'll take like 5mins, not 3 hrs

Based on the responses above, How long should you train team first, using ST, and second, using DT? Is it 1 hour? 2 Hours? 3 hours? What is the effect of training them when the pie is already full?

How long is not the issue, doesn't mean the longer u train the better. Train until all the whites in the circle below each guy disappear and that's it. The white in the circle is called Training Potential (TP for short), after the white is finished, futher training will not do ur team any good.

well having spent a total of 6 hours to train my people in pitching last night i hope this isnt a stupid question but here goes.how do i crank up my fps in smallball to make it quicker?also when using dt does a pitcher in the pitching pen get the same amount of pitch training as pitching them from the mound on the field?

In the pitching pen he is getting the majority of skill in pitching at least 99%+. When he is maxed out at pitching he will get equal or more gains in throwing skill.

This fps thing confuses me, I see no way of changing fps settings anywhere but I hear alot about it. Strange to me.

Go back to the Real forums, and search all posts for "fps". You should be able to locate instructions that way. Be aware that changing fps is not supported by smallball - you do it at your own risk, and may have to uninstall and reinstall if issues occur.

go to c/small/deluxe and get into deluxesetup (drag it onto microsoft word)

change the fps there

it can go up to 99999 but when its open have it no higher than 200

P.S 33 is the standard speed
