I just saw a post about an OSBC tourney, I recently signed up for a PvT chat thing in connection with another tourney a while back. As a n00b, I'm pretty confused. What is OSBC? Why is it that I have no idea how to work the PvT chat room?

Those are rhetorical questions, the point is that some of you are posting fragmented (albeit enthusiastic) information about tourneys and n00bs like me have no idea what you are talking about.

I realize that it's late in the game (no pun intended) and the atmosphere around here resembles that of the Titanic as it approached the iceberg, but perhaps a general format for tourney info posts should be considered.

At the very least, when you post your tourney announcement, you should keep in mind that many of us are not familiar with how these things are done or even how the forums work in conjunction with the clan and other private sites.

Also, perhaps these tourney chats should be held in IRC, easy to use and install.

The point is, I see that a big part of lack of participation is due to unclear posts and difficult to use chat programs. This is just a suggestion, because I would like to see greater participation in the tourneys.
