Hi. I have been wondering how star leagues work, for instance, I'm in the 7 star league, how do I advance in the rankings and how does the standings affect me?

Hello, the star leagues are based on star rating. The top of the list is the highest ranked of that star. Let's say 7.9* is rank 1 (just an example to show this.. top of the list is usually the next star) so the 100 teams ranked behind that team.. if your team is 7* but ranked 101-however many 7* teams are out there, then it doesn't appear.

The only way to move up on the list is to by training daily, soon you'll get to 8* and not be on a list until you get to be a top 100 ranked 8* team.

Also, the list is different throughout the day, you may be ranked 35th on the list after you train then as the hours pass you will move down the ranks. This is due to your team gradually losing skill (skill loss) and other teams training and bumping them up to a higher level than you.

Skill lost, how does that work? Also, my honour only increases by 0.1 each time i win, is there any way to make that higher.
Thanks for the advice!

You team looses skill constantly. That's why it is important to train them. Your honor increases when you beat teams that are as good or better than your own team. So if you beat a really good team, your honor will increase even more. Here is a pretty good post explaining honor.
