134022
7*
PL 4
9th place

I am deciding whether to restart and do it right. Find keepers and positions, instead of just guessing. Should I try and go as far as I can, or let them die down and restart.

If there was a rebirth ticket it would make this so much easier!

I would just keep them at their skill level where they are , and make pretend I am starting from stratch , that way you are bound to save some skills that you have already

that's a tough one ... obviously rebirths would be handy in these situations but seeing as how support for football has been dropped we're never likely to see them.

the problem with not finding your players best positions is that they'll never realise their full potential and so there's less chance of you actually winning something ... which is the whole point of playing.

getting into the PLs is pretty easy so i wouldn't stress over letting them drop out now. create a training plan whereby everyone trains in GK skill until they start maxing out. once that point arrives move them to run and/or reaction. your current GKs should be almost maxed already so they will just be maintaining their skill levels while the others catch up. mind you, to reach a point where all 15 max in GK will take you about two months.

once they've all reached their potential, stop training GK for at least three days after which the top four in GK skill become your potential GKs. repeat the process with the final four (although this time it should only need a week or two) until you find the top two.

i had to do it with a team of my own because i jumped in head first without researching the game. worked out quite well too as i now have a genius goalie and a pretty decent backup on the bench.
