Pink Slips Tournament |
|
|
I have an idea. I think that we should attempt to organize a Pink Slips tournament, but instead of winner-keep-all, it would be winner-AT's-teams-that-he-beat. That'd pretty cool. Say that for every team you beat in the tournament, you'd be able to AT them for a week. Imagine being able to control what HMS Surprise does for seven days. Wow!
Any thoughts on this? _________________ I do all my own stunts.

i think just the pink slip tourney part would be cool.
not sure how many people would be really into AT-ing a team for a week, but if thats what you want to do, go for it man _________________

Meh, maybe you could make it one or two days then. I wouldn't really worry about n00bs getting in, because if you have a team that can take down a PL1 contendor, you must have a pretty damn good team and must be a pretty damn good player.
If anyone expresses more interest I might host this. _________________ I do all my own stunts.

the problem is, any team in smallball could beat any other team on any given sunday. i think ive heard of 1* teams beating the Iliad.
it would probably have to be a really big tournament, or a 7 game series type thing to prevent a noob from beating a PL1 team. _________________

I HIGHLY doubt that a 1* team could beat the Iliad. Seriously. I don't care how messed up the database is, a 1* team can't beat a 10* team. Sorry, I just don't see how there is any possible way for that to happen.
Proof, anyone? _________________ I do all my own stunts.

yeah you're probably right, i thought i heard that somewhere but i guess not.
but i have seen 7* teams that have beaten the Iliad, and Money says that his 5* team once beat them a while back. _________________

There was a bug where teams untrained in batting would get walks like crazy and could beat high level teams by constantly walking to score runs. At that time it was not unusual for a high star team to lose to a team untrained in batting.
At least that is my memory of it. _________________

The thing is, those were bugs back when Smallball wasn't even close to as good as it is today. Nowadays, a team under 8* wouldn't have a realistic chance of beating a 10*. And realisitic is the keyword. _________________ I do all my own stunts.

the idea of pink slips is okay, but idk about the whole AT thing... supposing the guy that loses is holding a grudge with the person whom he just lost to or something... now they can destroy that persons honor rating or training schedule. that would stink for the winner. _________________

That's not what Pink-Slips mean though...
After I win, I'd want complete control of the other team if this is a pinkslips competition.
I wouldn't want to waste my time training another person's team when I have a hard time training my own. _________________ XsT | TA# 1.1 | -.- | XXI | $2856.82 (10/27)

I can personally guarantee you that you will not get your hands on HMS Surprise any time soon....er...EVER.
However, I hear that Beaner's crew might be giving out test drives, might wanna check with him! _________________
