run speed, dribble speed and drive speed. |
|
|
I was wondering how run speed affected dribble and drive speed, in my eyes it could do either of the three things:
1) It determined a players max of dribble speed and drive speed. eg. In real life you have a max speed you can run so no matter how good you were at driving there is no way you could possibly drive faster than you could run.
2) It could help your drive and dribble skills. eg. if your maxed in drive skill and max in running you would drive faster than someone who wasnt maxed in running.
3) running skill only affects a player when he doesnt have the ball and doesnt affect drive or driblble speeds at all.
case #1 would be what would happen in real life and i dont know if it was implicated into SmallBall and either case #2 or #3 could be what actually happens in this lovely game.
Could anyone help me out with what case is true. |

#3.
It does make sense that run speed would effect how quickly you drive the ball, but only driving in fact helps the speed of it. One way I know this is you could have one player maxed out in running without any driving training ever, and one player with no run training ever or driving training ever and they would both drive the ball at the same speed. It is very difficult to train driving without training running since you normally will gain run training while a player is training for driving. If Driving QTs were available I'm sure more accurate testing could take place (no running training, only Driving QTs) |
