wow im not very good at picking these games.
last week- straight up- 9/16
w/ spread- 7/16
2 week total- straight up- 16/32
w/ spread- 16/32
so lets try this again........
Panthers (3) at Dolphins- Panthers coming off big win. Dolphins coming off loss. Look for the same thing to happen again. Panthers win and cover the spread.
Bengels (3) at Bears- im picking the Bengels to win and cover. Not surprising, right? what is surprising is that im calling this game to be a blowout. (like 34-7)
Cowboys (6.5) at 49ers- this will be a better game than it seems. the cowboys will win a close game but the 49ers cover spread.
Browns at Colts (13.5)- here's a real shocking pick. this is my blowout pick and top pick of the week. colts win and cover spread. manning will throw about 5 td's. colts defense has been awesome recently so im also calling a shutout. (like 42-0)
Saints at Vikings (4)- culpepper is on my fantasy team. he was my top pick in the fantasy draft. he has been playing like crap so for this week im benching him for kurt warner. saints win this game even though the vikings wont look so horrible this week.
Raiders at Eagles (7.5)- spread is tough on this one. the eagles will win but i think the raiders will have a good game and randy moss will get over 100 yds. therefore eagles win but raiders cover spread.
Patriots at Steelers (3)- this will be the game im watching this week. it will be a great defensive game. steelers pull out a close one in the final minutes. the spread will probably tie.
Giants at Chargers (6)- giants (2-0) chargers (0-2), who the hell came up with a spread of 6 for the chargers. giants continue winning this week and chargers continue losing. giants are my "dark horse" pick this year.
Cardinals at Seahawks (6.5)- cardinals win and boldin and fitzgerald will have a good game.
Titans at Rams (6.5)- my upset pick of the week. Titans pull off a victory in a fairly close game (24-21)
Bucs (3) at Packers- bucs have awesome defense. they will continue their awesome defense this week and win and cover the spread. (17-3)
Falcons at Bills (PK- no spread)- its time for vick to break out so i say the falcons win this week but i am not all that confident in this pick.
Jaguars at Jets (3)- Jaguars showed their great defense last week holding the Colts to 10 pts.(that is equivalent to shutting out any other team) Jets have a worse offense so the jaguars will take this game in a boring low scoring game.
Cheifs at Broncos (3)- great rivalry. should be a shootout. im giving the broncos the victory this week and they will cover the spread.

lets see how this week goes.
anyone wish to challenge me...

I'm doing something like this is my school. I'm ranked T-33 out of the whole school... I think I'm 12-20... or something like that.

i'm interested to see what people are picking for Pats/Steelers

Pats won the last meeting in a blowout, have to bounce back like Belichick and his team usually does; however, they have lost half their team...

Steelerss won during the regular season last time and are 2-0 with blowout wins; however, this is the only competent team they have played so far...

what do you guys think?

i think the pats will win in a close game, but im not really sure. i could definitely see the steelers taking this one easily, though.

dont worry, the pats will still win the division and the super bowl. they just need some time to come together.

my picks for the week
colts 21 browns 18
49ers 17 cowboys 14
raiders 30 eagles 23
patriots 21 steelers 18
giants 24 chargers 13
seahawks 34 cardinals 17
chiefs 28 broncos 7

Panthers (3) at Dolphins- Panthers seem to be clicking. Not a large travel for the team, and the Dolphins are still pretty poor. Panthers +3

Bengels (3) at Bears- Bengals are really shocking me right now. Beating the Vikings and quite soundly. Bears - who knows what team will show up. Bengals away, could be a tougher game than many see. Take the Bears to upset.

Cowboys (6.5) at 49ers- Cowboys choked against the 'skins. Expect Parcells' yelling this past week to make a differnece. 49ers are just bad. Cowboys +6.5

Browns at Colts (13.5)- Colts +13.5 Shocked I hate these 2 TD lines. Always as a betting man you take the underdog. Will do again. Even tho the Browns are pitiful.

Saints at Vikings (4)- Culpepper with 8 INTs. He beter start showing up or we may see Johnson playing QB. Saints are running out of adrenaline, take the Vikings here.

Raiders at Eagles (7.5)- Anotehr spread too high. If Moss can stop those piddly penalties (off. Pass Interference) then maybe the Raiders can shock this one out. mcNabb and TO are on same page tho. Take the Eagles at home +7.5.

Patriots at Steelers (3)- Push. Steelers have had 2 easy opening games. Pats lost last week in a great game vs a formidable opponent. No Betis/ Staley playing. I'm not expecting W. Parker to get 100+ this week. Pats need to protect Brady to win this one, if they do that well, then they should have a must needed away win.

Giants at Chargers (6)- Chargers have the west coast vs East coast spread at home. And a good one to take. Long flight for the Giants. Major factor in NFL.

Cardinals at Seahawks (6.5)- Seahawks looked great against a tired jetlagged team. Don't expect this one to be the same. 'zona are proving to be the bassement dwellers as usual. Close game, flip a coin.

Titans at Rams (6.5)- Rams to win handliy. I don't rate the Titans much, and last weeks win was a shock. Rams to win at home. +6.5.

Bucs (3) at Packers- This is it for Favre. Maybe after this game Rodgers may get a shot under centre. Bucs look decent enough against a good Bills team. take the Bucs away (shock pic as they suck in GB).

Falcons at Bills (PK- no spread)- Bills need the cold to win this one. Bills D will contain Vick, but not Dunn. Falcons win.

Jaguars at Jets (3)- Crap game to pick this one. Both teams are brutal. Playing mistake free ball will give this one a winner. Coin flip.

Cheifs at Broncos (3)- Home Team only advantge in this one. Broncos at home +3 (if at KC, take the Chiefs).
