Looking for a few good pens! |

Hey guys, I'm one of the Content Editors for the SmallBall Community Times and I'm looking for some content from you. What I'm really looking for today is some SmallBall training tips. Things like how to build up a team, how to get to 9* or 10*, which stadiums are best for which types of teams. I'm also open to pretty much anything SmallBall related. I do have some prizes, but you really have to earn that.
If you are interested in submitting an article, please send me a PM with it. Do not post it here!
Come be a part of SmallBall history and get your article posted on the SmallBall Community Times!
Thanks everyone!

I'd posted this somewhere else, but I'll post it here, too.
Ok, I have a request for content.
I've been involved in a lot of memorable days in SmallBall. Not so much historically significant, but just fun. Some great live tournaments, some fun times on the forums and some even funner times in chat.
Here's the request: I'd like to see a well written article or story about a memorable day in SmallBall. I'm gonna leave it sort of vague like that.
Remember, I may ask you to work on it a bit if it's not up to snuff and I won't accept just anything. Don't be offended if I don't use yours and don't be discouraged. It may be saved for the future.
Also, the main reward is being published, but there might possibly (not definitely!) be a "different" reward.
Cheers!

Ok, here's the kind of content that I am looking for:
I'm the Smallball mom here, right? I currently don't even train an entire team (I train one player on AcA's 803) because I found that my real life ("training" my real life little people) took so much energy and attention that the very thought of you 10-team people boggles my mind.
I'm calling all people like me to action. I want to read articles about how Smallball fits into your busy life and family. A long time ago, I wrote an article for the HPN about my son Joey and how he used the DT's notes feature to write "encouraging" little notes to his players about how they'd better suck it up and run harder and stuff like that. It was the cutest thing I'd ever seen and WAY more real to me than winning PL1 would ever be.
I want to know about husbands and wives who train together. Mothers and kids. Friends.
I want to know if Smallball ever crosses over into your offline life in any way.
I want to know about the social aspects, if you've made friends who will continue to be in your life long after Smallball.
I want to hear from the people for whom Smallball is one little part of life, a great part, sure - but my compatriots who will never have the time or patience to take a team to the top or have a million teams, but still can't seem to give it up...
So PM me if you have ideas for articles along these lines. You can shoot me a rough draft or outline and we can work together to shape it up. _________________

| I guess I'd better chime in too. I'd like to see some SmallBall fiction. Stories like the Catfish series (But shorter for the blog, the long one will fit better in the HPN), poetry, etc. Original and smallball related. Interviews would be good as well. |

Always looking for new content! And you can use any of the editors that you feel comfortable working with, too. I'm not just bumping this for me. And remember, if an editor feels that your content was well prepared, noteworthy, interesting and whatever else, they may gift you with a ticket! (but not all content that is used is gifted)
Oh yeah, and don't forget this aspect of it!

I can write one for you if I get to 9*. I will write about my trials and tribulations that I have gone through. I'm still a pretty high 8* and if anyone can help me get there sooner so I can write it it would be cool. _________________
