Who says it's gonna be one of those 5? Heck, if the season ended today, the Yankees wouldn't even make the playoffs.

Thats very true. I just put in the top five teams I tought would make it, and the ones who have been play-off consistant, or have a good record.

Assuming the Red Sox win the East and make it to the playoffs, I don't think that they'll make it past the ALDS. They've no magic. 2004 was something really special, but now with the curse lifted, they're just another team with a HUGE payroll. Sorry RSN, but I don't feel for ya anymore.

we all know that the yankees are going to win. it going to come down to the final series against the red sox. after that, the yankees will either win the division or force a 1 game tiebreaker in which they win. so yankees take division, red sox take wild card, white sox take central (which isnt such a sure thing anymore), angels take west. couldnt care less about the national league but id say cardinals make it to world series with the yankees and yankees win pretty easily in 5 games.

this is why the yanks won't make the playoffs this year

Yankees schedule 2 more games @ tor. they split (1-1 for the final stretch) 4 games with bal. @ home once again split (3-3) 3 vs tor. @ home sweep (6-3) 4 @ bal. split (8-5) then 4 @ bos lose series 1-3 (9-Cool

This means that cle. needs at least 9 wins which they will get by taking the next 2 from KC @home (2-0) then losing 2 to Chi 1-2 (3-2) then the 4 games @ KC which they will take 3 or possibly four but i will stick w/ 3 (6-3) then 3 against TB @home where they take 2 (8-4) they take 2 of the final 4 games against Chi. @ home (10-6) and win the wild card

it's all in the schedule and cleveland has an easier one.

Actually, the Indians only have 15 games left. Their final series against the ChiSox is only 3 games, not 4.

Anyhow, I think the Indians will make the playoffs (probably as the Wild Card, although winning the Division is not out of the question). I'm predicting a Red Sox (Or Yankees, whoever wins the East) vs Cards world series...and the Cards will win it.

Slipping REAL fast. They're 5 out of the Wild Card now. Better hope those Angels start losing.

Wow that last one was kind of just put out there..... I'm not even sure the white sox are going to make the playoffs, they've lost 10 games of their 14.5 game lead in 45 days. If the indians get hot, they will win the a.l. central, but i voted for the braves Very Happy Go Braves
