this bench business is really starting to pi$$ me off! |

| heres the deal~ my new team is about 3 months old and i have trained every single day my starters and my benchies in the exact same skill. The starters only have half a pie while the benchies always get a full pie. That is saying that my benchies get twice as much training every single day.But they are in the bottom 5 of every single skill. Not only must they lose skill fast, but more than 2X as fast as regular players. I would like a reply to this by you commish. |

| Yah ive noticed it takes twice as much skill gain to get my pitchers maxed my self if there on the bench. Put em in the line up and its half skill gain to get em to the same place . ie 4 skill in line up , 8 on bench (both pitchers) |

You need to try this . . . train in the skill that they are worse in for half pie and batting with the other half. I have a team I started 9/17/2002 (134628) and they are an 8* for about two weeks now and getting better everyday. If you want help, post your e-mail and Ill try to help as best I can. |

Thanks for the offer  But like figuring this stuff out on my own. Just kinda curious about the skill gain lose of bench players myself. |

I don't know why I'm even bothering, BUT....if you are going a full 24 hours between training and go over one minute, then their moods go WAY down and its hard to get them back up on the bench. They don't train or maintain as well while they have frowny faces. I had that problem with some rookies and started training bench twice a day and everyone else once, and have had no problems since. The rookies have now surpassed some of the older players in many skills. I hope you don't take any of this advice because I like seeing you whine because you can't get your team up as fast as you want without cheating.  |

| wow cj- that has got to be the most intelligent thing i ever heard you say...btw my team is 9* and better than yours and they are cruising through the pro leagues with no cheats, even though i never have before. Just proving that i have never cheated cuz my new team is so good already |

BTW...if your team is so good, give 74179 a whirl. I have'nt trained them, so you'll have a chance.

ok cj im playing you game id is 54802 and im up 8-3 in the middle of the second, you probably will put a lot of runs up because i havent trained pitching but your right fielder dropped a poop up so i hope you do fielding soon  |

You'll score plenty...Like I said..no training and the pitcher is on his second day. 10-10 right now, good luck.

| yea, i dont know how that happened. i trained running yesterday and i was 9* all the way up til the time i trained today.Today i trained in batting and they drop to 8* almost immediately after training, im sure they could have used the batting though. |

Must have trained the wrong thing. GG, hated to see you blow that 8-3 lead. Not really, but that's what you're supposed to say. Better luck next time. |
